Amazing food. One of my go to places on Koornang Rd. Not gonna lie, we eat here almost every other week.I always order the spicy lamb noodles #5, samsa #19, and the chicken and lamb skewers.Best chicken wings in melbourne. hands down. don’t fight me on this.

if I could give zero or minus, that's definitely what I'd rate this place. Let along customer service they are not even friendly, the staffs there are very snoby. It's the worst and scariest experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I was there for dinner with my 4 year old son. My son wanted to go to the toilet, so I took him, I was walking in front, he was walking behind me, when I turned back there was a staff walking behind him with the metal lamb skewer sharp pointing at his back, I quickly told the lady to becareful and not to point the metal stick at him its very dangerous, instead of apologising she had a very annoyed face blaming my son for walking too slow. I complained to the owner on her behaviour, the owner didn't allow me to finish my complaint but apologized and said understand where I'm coming from, should not have the attitude towards children. I'm sorry but that isn't my biggest concern. It's safety sense. If only my son had turned around the metal stick would have injured him. Terrible. I would never visit this place ever again.

Don't let the extensive menu put you off, the honest to goodness, homely sort of dishes here will definitely impress. Flavours abound, as expected of Uyghur cuisine - punchy and bold flavours bursting from every dish. The lamb skewers are a must order - tender, juicy and meaty, and grilled to perfection. Love the lamb bun (no idea what's the English name) too. Soft with a slight crisped exterior, and filled with a generous amount of filling, it's undeniably delicious. While not all dishes that we tried were mind-blowing, they definitely met our expectations.

One of the best food I have ever had in my life. My friend said they found a reason to live their lives here. Lamb skewers are the best as well as lamb tongue. Pretty much everything here will blow your mind. Last time I had to beg them to cook for me as I was late and came in when they were closing up. Keep up this amazing foods guys!!

We came here for a pre-mother's day celebration with our family. The lamb skewers were succulent and tasty. Hand-made noodles were not bad.All in all, the food was not too bad. The toilets were clean and the ambience was okay.

A hit or miss option where you need certain tastes to enjoy the food.I got the Kaynam handmade noodles with stir fried lamb and vegetables and the handmade noodles were really good. The overall dish was pretty good and definitely one of the friendlier options to try on their menu if you haven’t had xin jiang food before.Expect to spend around $20 for a meal here.

Average. Most of the mains are lambs but not really outstanding. Portion size was big, really full, prices were reasonable. Services were better than expected.

Nice Xinjiang / Uyghur food here, we usually get some lamb skewers each time as this is almost a staple for a place like this.Food overall is good although could be a bit spicier (we did ask for our lamb skewers to be spicy after they asked us, but they came out mild - nonetheless the taste was good though and with big chunks of lamb).Service is nice and usually quick (although whenever we've visited, it's been semi quiet).Pricing is where this place loses a star - prices are a tad high, we wanted a chilli chicken dish but for $40/serve, we settled for the pictured chicken with potatoes and onions - $30 but quite a good serving. Will probably come back and try the $40 chilli chicken dish next time.Recommended!
