Asked very inappropriate questions about my situation.This is a midwife and not a licensed therapist...... my advise Is you to go to another midwife that is highly recommend or your trusted GP.please the aftercare of a mother is just as important as her pregnancy.And if you do see these people don’t be afraid to stick up for yourself like I was.

We had a horrible experience with midwife there, Dianne, when we brought our son there for 1 week checkup. She was totally unempathetic, almost accusing us of abusing our child when he lost less than 5% weight (which is normal) and started misdiagnosing him with mild jaundice and suspecting hospital - North Shore Private - measured his weight and head circumference wrong by 1cm - when she knows he was born breech so his head shape was more flat at birth than now. We ended up checking with two doctors - one pediatrician and one GP with child health expertise - within next 5 days who refuted all her claims. We also got another private midwife for 2hrs consultation at our home and said we are doing great. We are never going back to these unqualified health centres again!

Hannah was a great support to me during PPD phase. Se was empathetic enough, cared to listen to my worries, visited me personally twice to check on my mental health and vitals / growth of my baby. She calmed me down and helped me simplify my approach to take care of my baby. She is dedicated in her work and has just the right attitude to support a new mother with her anxiety.
