The Johnson Brisbane - Art Series

Stayed here the night before and after my wedding, room was great and so spacious. Staff were really accommodating. Had some beautiful photos taken throughout the hotel, it’s gorgeous inside!

Room was massive, so much space and we had 4 adults in 2 queen beds. Could easily get an extra bed in there. Everything was clean but shower was broken so kept dripping all night. Central location. Close to Roma st parklands, 20 minute walk to showgrounds. Would stay again.

Great hotel. No restaurant but funky vibe and good service. Parking is rather expensive at $30 per night but probably in line with other hotels. Not many other options around. Room was great

Beautiful room and excellent customer service!The interior of our room is very cool, lots of sunshine, comfortable and clean.Check in was smooth and check out was quick and easy.I accidentally left my earrings on the bedside and they have kept it for me and posted it back to melbourne. Very efficient, prompt and super helpful. So grateful for the honest and professional employees there!

AS expected in most ways, No room service is disappointing in a place listing itself as 4 stars.Room was average but large. View was non existent and literally just opens to face a walkway 5 minutes away with another room with window that look in to your own room so if you want light you have to just have everyone walking past looking in your room. pillow had a stain on it, not a big deal however the worst part was the noises. The air-conditioner made so much noise I thought taps were running in the bathroom. When I recorded how loud it was and played it to reception they were shocked but then said all of their units make that noise when set below 24c degrees. So literally anytime you would actually use the air con. It meant i had to sleep without sheets and a blanket because the room was hot, i couldn't open the windows and the aircon was so loud it was a joke. Then there was whatever pipes were in the walls behind the bed head. On the night it rained it was like having a storm water drain running beside you. I'd recommend not staying in room 505. An awful experience, other rooms on higher levels may be better.

Have stayed many times at this hotel and have had an overall great experience every time i've stayed here. Great 50m pool with view and a very updated and modern building.

A great location.Backs onto Victoria Park where the family have simply walked to the music festival. The city centre is bang on 1km walk away from the front door which is nothing a Uber trip back can solve if you are tired after a day of shopping.Fantastic outdoor swimming pool, gym and chill out sunbeds along the pool.Rooms are extremely clean and modern, beds are so comfy and the double sink bathrooms are a bonus.Received a lovely welcome from the reception and the maintenance staff along with the housekeepers were second to none for their politeness and kindness.A very highly recommended place to stay if you were ever debating where to stay while in Brisbane.Plenty of coffee shops and cafes scattered nearby plus a bus stop right outside.Limited car park available underground but we were lucky to secure a spot.Will definitely be back in the future!

I often stay at the johnson, went in Brisbane, for Business, the staff are always accommodating, the rooms are always clean and well presented. We make use of their boardroom and function facilities, for education and training sessions. They are well priced, easy connect-ability for presentations from your laptop. For those of you that travel for work and often have to connect to screens in function rooms you’ll know that it’s not always that simple the johnson staff always make this process smooth. The pool and gym facilities are first class. Highly recommend, if you’re looking for a central location with street, parking and hotel parking that isn’t in the middle of the city, but close enough to be in the middle of town with a 15 to 20 minute walk or a seven minute Uber. We had a great stay at The Johnson. The check in experience was great and staff were friendly. The room was modern and spacious and had Apelles apothecary toiletries. The view was nice and the neighbourhood was quiet away from the loud bars and party scene. We stayed on the Easter long weekend so if you were looking for something to eat within walking distance then this isn’t the spot as it’s a quiet neighbourhood so all cafes and restaurants (which there aren’t many) are closed but because it was a long weekend the city had free parking everywhere so it was no issue to go for a drive to the valley or inner city to check out restaurants or bars. All of the staff were very friendly and checking out was also quick and efficient. The only down side I would say is the pool area. The pool itself looks nice but the loungers and seating areas have been completely neglected and allowed to soak in the rain so the whole area is soggy and mouldy and I’d never sit in the area. It wasn’t too warm that weekend so we didn’t mind much and didn’t use the pool but I’d say if you were coming on a hot summer day or with a family to enjoy the pool then the area definitely needs some TLC which is sad since it’s so new and got neglected so quickly.We would definitely stay again.Great value, especially if you’re an Accor member.
