Ice Cream A'La Copenhagen

Outstanding Ice-cream. Strong flavours. The richest banana flavoured ice-cream I've encountered. The gourmet vanilla bean was up there too. The coffee flavour - superb!! The range is incredible. We were not in the area long enough to even begin to sample all of the flavours. There was another joint up the road that always had a ten mile long cue with a negative vibe permeating the lingering crowd. At Copenhagen we got served nice and quickly. Now I've gotta work off these extra calories :)

Absolutely amazing! I love the traditional old-fashion vibe inside, the place smells exactly like homemade waffles!There is a variety of yummy flavours that are pretty unique to your usual ice cream. Some ice creams are an extra $1 on top of the price of the number of scoops you are getting but it is worth it. The ice cream is rich and full of flavour and you can get all sorts of toppings as well! Overall I was really happy with my experience here and will definitely come back soon!Strongly recommend to anyone around the area :)

For decent ice cream and waffle cones, they’re pretty good!It’s also very nice to find a place that still does cash only, I love seeing it. I also love seeing a place that respects the medical privacy of one another.I literally went last time not because I was craving ice cream but because I wanted to show support to a place with good values.Thanks for what you guys are doing. And really love the signs out the front. Need more shops like you guys.thanks again

Absolutely amazing local ice cream place. The service and friendly staff is what makes places like this worth every cent not to mention the amazing aroma once you walk in.I only ever visit this place with my children when we come here over summer time.We love supporting local businesses like this place.

Great ice-cream store. Huge range of flavours from the tried and tested through to the unique. Home made waffle cones. This place is a firm favourite with our kids. They always have rainbow, fairy floss and bubble gum flavours, which is great for those with young kids. ATM available on-site. Limited seating but in a great location across from the beach.

The ice cream is fine, though unremarkable. But the staff don’t wear masks, there’s weird conspiracy stuff posted on the window, and they only take cash (not sure why a business wouldn’t take card in 2022…). They have signs up actively encouraging customers to take their masks off. I’ll avoid next time, I’d rather not get infected with my ice cream.Note: no matter how clean your shop is, you are putting your customers at risk if you don’t wear a mask, are not vaccinated, and encourage other customers to not wear a mask. You don’t stop the spread of COVID by cleaning your ice cream scoops.

Bought 5 ice creams today- it cost $65!! Not sure what our server costed up but we got ripped off. It seemed that during a lul in customers not one of the other staff looked to help out our staff member who was taking her time scooping up inconsistent cups. We are a regular over the warmer months and this kind of service and incorrect pricing just won’t cut it!

Expensive and most be the only place in Australia that does not take a credit card only cash. Maybe the ATO should have a look at them. Not to worry, they have an ATM in the shop and will charge you $2.50 to take out $20 to pay.NOTE: Obviously your business and you can do what you want. We came once and had no cash just our phones so we moved on to the next place. At the prices you charge I am sure you can absorb the 1.2% for credit card fees. It equates to about 10 cents on you $9 ice-creams rather than sticking your customers $2.50 if they forget you only take cash.Anyway we still come there some nights when we are down at Dromana if we have cash :) as we enjoy some of your ice-cream and like supporting local businesses.

Best ice creams around. Home made waffles. True Danish experience with guf and all! Cannot go past their Licorice ice cream. Thank you for staying open! We love you even in winter!
