Kip Bayside Dog Daycare & Boarding

I loved the daily updates and great customer service. My dog usually comes back from other pet hotels stressed but at this place he didn't. Highly recommend!

I am so happy I found this place for my little pugalier. I had a lot of mummy guilt leaving him while I work. The staff here are fantastic, they really are passionate with their work and treat every dog with so much care, love and as if they were their own. My dog loves it there and has learnt to listen better, recall and looks forward to going to daycare that he whines the whole drive to Daycare! So excited that they are opening a kennel too, gives me piece of mind if I have to have him looked after.Thanks to all the staff at KIP Bayside Staff, you all are AMAZING!!!!!

I have been going to Kip for over a year now and it is my most favourite place to be! I make new friends, learn new manners and have new experiences each visit. I am always in the best care and sneak in cuddles with the handlers! Kip lets me play, nap, rest and run as I please! I can’t wait for my next visit. Freddie :-)

My dog Ralphie is always so excited when we arrive at Kip for the day. The staff are so lovely and caring. Kip email you a video each day so that you can see how much fun all of the dogs are having. The activities are constantly changing so the dogs are kept stimulated. Thanks so much for providing a safe and fun environment for my precious dog.

I booked my dog, Blu, into Kip Bayside for a trial day. I booked 3 days prior to the requested date and received a confirmation of the booking. When I turned up on the day, at 7.15am, I was told Blu was not booked in. I checked my emails and showed the girl however she said that I had only 'requested' a booking and that I needed to wait for a 'confirmation' email. She told me they were fully booked and that Blu could not stay that day. I was very annoyed because I was certain I had received confirmation. When I got home, I double checked the email. I clicked on the link in the email and it took me to the 'portal' where I had uploaded Blu's vaccination certificate etc., and that is where it said 'Blu's trial day at Kip Bayside on 24 Mar 23 is CONFIRMED. We look forward to meeting Blu ...'Later that day, I sent an email to Kip advising how disappointed I was and how bad my first experience was, with a copy of the confirmation that I had received. A few hours later I received a phone call from the General Manager, apologising profusely and saying it should not have happened. He told me if I would consider trying again, he would personally look after Blu and myself. I was happy that he took the time to call me and was willing to make things better. On the following Monday, I emailed the General Manager and explained the personal reasons why I wanted to put Blu into daycare and asked if there was space during the coming week. I was hopeful that Blu would go a have a good, fun day. Well, I'm still waiting for a response. It is now 19 May 2023. 8 weeks later! So no, I wouldn't recommend Kip Bayside. Bad experience all round.

I have 2 whippets Heidi and Nala. Nala is very shy, timid and scared. The first time, I was nervous how she would go, but I love the care and attention the staffs in this daycare provided. They were very honest about my whippets - even got a report card with detailed notes on how they went and got along with the other dogs. Honesty is key, which I never got from a lot of other dog places. We have had 1 half-day and 2 full-days so far, it has been a wonderful! I'm confident Nala will overcome her shyness gradually! Highly recommend this daycare!These photos are just 2 of many that were taken by the daycare - no extra cost (unlike a lot of other places I've come across).

Fantastic day care, with caring and friendly staff. My doggo loves it and is always super knackered when she gets home. A good sign she's been well stimulated and had lots of fun.

Not a good experience for us unfortunately. We left our pup for boarding, there was nothing in any communication about pick up times. We called twice over the space of two hours after opening and there was no answer nor returned calls. We were the only customers there when we arrived and it took ages for someone to attend to us. It seemed disorganised and left us feeling very uncertain about our little one.

I could not recommend this place high enough. Although our boy is a ball of stress and is better off not being in a daycare environment the trainers really take the time to care, evaluate and provide love to all the dogs that come into their center.If you're on the fence about this place, definitely give them a go. They are warm and welcoming and we hope to see them continue to grow and provide a fun, educational space for dogs and their humans. Thank you again Kip Team!!! Huge fans of your work!!!
