Could not think of a better place to have started my Jiu-Jitsu journey.Coach Pedro (Salgado) runs an amazing class and has an amazing group of Coaches and students.Arrived for my trial day and was immediately greeted and made to feel welcome by Coach Luke.Coach Salgado took the time to explain the history of Jiu Jitsu and it’s growth into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as we know it today at the start of the lesson.Discussing the program/training schedule and explaining what I could expect in the first couple months, easing any concerns I had about my skill level or lack of knowledge.Each lesson has been an amazing experience unto itself. Everything is explained in way that makes it all very easy to follow along, the techniques and concepts are shown to us in clear and easy to understand demonstrations. Coach has a fun, lighthearted and enjoyable teaching style, that has everyone focused and entertained at the same time.If you’ve ever thought about joining, do not hesitate you will not regret your decision.

I have trained in other local martial arts for 23years and can state with confidence that GB Orange is by far the most ego free training facility I have attended. Coach Martin is outstanding in both his instruction and application of BJJ techniques, so much so, that my children now attend. Walking into a male dominated martial art was an incredibly daunting idea for me, however Martin, as well as everyone else have been nothing but welcoming and encouraging at every point in my BJJ journey.The space is incredibly clean, and well maintained. My daughter loves the kids classes, she feels comfortable and enjoys being friends with the other kids as much as learning skills. I enjoy the friendly people and Coaches Luke, Dillon and Richard are excellent. Always happy to explain, demonstrate... My jujitsu has progressed massively since coming to GB in Orange.They handled the COVID shutdown nicely, had fun kids classes daily, offered discussion type classes for adults and practical ones for adults.

Coach Martin is an extremely gentle, understanding and caring instructor who will, and does, go above and beyond for his students both old and young.My husband started at GB Orange and soon after, the kids (9yrs and 7 yrs) and I all joined as well. We all love it.The facilities are thoroughly cleaned and cared for, making it a very pleasant and safe place to roll.The team is also very accepting and encouraging, making it a great place to learn.Overall my family's experience here at GB Orange has been amazing and I would certainly recommend it to anyone and everyone, all ages and all fitness levels!!!

Good gym, good guys; I was just visiting but they were more than happy to give me their time, answer some questions and show me some things I hadn’t seen before. Will be back the next time I’m in Orange

For me, I value a friendly and welcoming environment for BJJ.Martin provides this.BJJ just isn't fun for me if the people you train with are aggressive.Here you get good training partners that challange you and help you learn.I would highly recommend Martin's school for anyone considering trying BJJ.

Gracie Barra are the leaders in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The Orange team are so dedicated and treat the members like family. Brazilian jiu-jitsu is great for improving gross motor skills, core strength, following instructions and motor planning, making it a great activity for children. The gym is sensory friendly and the instructors have a great understanding of how to communicate with children and how to gently provide discipline and coaching.
