Room was comfortable and well laid out but not cleaned that well.Rooms at the front get a lot of traffic noise all night as the windows do not fit properly. There are no screens on the windows so bugs can get in and children could climb out, legal liability here.If you have trouble climbing stairs, do not stay here.If you have a car, do not stay here.You get what you pay for.

My partner and I stayed here a couple weeks ago and it was great, we were so close to everything!! The scenic Manly beach was right there! And it was nice being able to walk to grab a coffee and breakfast by the beach. Also, we could easily grab things from the TWO Coles Grocery stores on top of all the cute shops within walking distances. At night we were spoiled for choice when it came to bars with live music and restaurants galore, was easy to stumble back after a possible few too many drinks. The staff were super helpful too, we always felt looked after. We will definitely be back, great bang for buck, can't recommend this place enough!

I stayed at Manly Beachside Apartments for 14 nights as I was quarantining following my return from Victoria. I don't think I could've had a better experience, all things considered. Heather gave me the sunniest room (#16, if you're curious), which was truly a blessing since quarantine is nothing to celebrate.The room was perfect for my needs. It had a double bed, bedside tables with lamps and a dining set right by the giant window (which had blackout curtains). It also had a kitchen with a microwave, kettle, toaster and mini-fridge. I was able to use a portable electric frypan that the Apartment loaned to me for a one-week security deposit.The service was really delightful. Heather was kind and attentive, and so were the other staff members there. There was always someone on call (even after business hours) if I was expecting a delivery / UberEats. They also offered to bring me a coffee if I wanted it, and it was charged to my account at the end of the stay.At the end of my quarantine, I went straight to Manly Beach, which was only a three minute walk away. The location is excellent in that respect.I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to people since it was affordable, had a lot of value for price, and the staff are lovely.

Firstly 37 stairs to carry bags up and this is not in its blurb. Room has NO AIR CONDITIONING, NO SCREENS on windows to be able to open. Oscillating fan which was filthy. Bed very short my husband is 6'3 and feet stuck out the end. Bed Mattress poor. The vanity is only 780 cm tall - no plug. Room not so clean and the place is a barely backbacker's delight. Parking a nightmare. Only thing this place has going for it is location.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Good position .. close to everything. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were what we expected for the price but had everything we needed. Fabulous entry stairs. Would definitely stay again.

I definitely don't recommend staying here. The owner treats people very poorly, and in my case, he didn't refund my money. I know of several other cases like mine as well. Also, more than one room doesn't have basic living conditions, and yet he continues to offer them. I have already reported him to the appropriate authorities, and I hope to be in time if you are considering reaching an agreement with this type of person.

We're enjoying our stay here. Room is comfortable. It has most things that you would need except for shelving or storage in the bathroom. No disability access that we're aware of. Quite a few steps at entry. Price is very good and handy to shops, wharf, bus stop, etc.
