We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at The Watertank Cafe this morning. Between us we ordered scrambled eggs, pancakes and smashed avo, all were tasty and presented beautifully. The coffee was great and my wife commented that her hot chocolate was one of the best she has ever had.The environment is fun and we enjoyed playing Jenga and Connect 4 while our food was being prepared.Service was excellent and overall a lovely experience for breakfast.Highly recommended.

Beautiful place hidden Jem on outskirts of Alice Springs Central business district. Easy access. Diverse Menu catering to vegan and gluten free option. The coffee is Softaculous and the decor eclectic without being pretentious.

Absolutely lovely brunch spot, music, decor, and lovely staff. Beautiful aesthetically! We had things off the breakfast and lunch menu, both were incredible. Would highly rate the savory crepes. The only downside is that I’m only traveling through Alice and won’t be able to eat here again.

The Watertank Cafe is a unique business that provides an opportunity for customers to relax and enjoy coffee and/or a meal whilst enjoying a relaxing atmosphere. Sitting arrangements ensure that each customer has a choice of relaxing in a lounge, sitting at a dining table or simply reading a newspaper on a stool bar. The coffee is great, although expensive, and all meals can be ordered to both eat in and take away. There is also free wifi, a wheelchair accessible entrance and toilets available.

A true sanctuary in the red centre. Nothing can be better to enjoy delicious food while surrounding by beautiful plants in the morning breeze. The ingredients are amazingly fresh and tastes natural. There are beautiful local produces available in the shop too.

I ordered the big breakfast, which they call the full tank (good name). There was a decent crowd sitting and enjoying their meals and coffee. Giving the Cafe a very pleasant atmosphere. When the meal arrived, I was disappointed in the size of the meal as it was smaller than the last few times I had been there. Only a single slice of toast with a little butter. There were 2 pieces of bacon, one of which was dry and chewy. The other was crunchy but still dry. Next to no bacon fat for flavour. The eggs were very tasty and very fresh (which is the main reason I like coming to the tank).Though there was a bit of uncooked egg over the yolks.I personally prefer when the chef cooks this albumen (either steam the eggs in the pan with a bit of water or spoon some of the oil over the top of the egg). The beans were good, as were the mushrooms and the potato rosti. However, I was completely missing the vine ripened tomatos, but only realised halfway through the meal. The other meals that came out looked quite good. I will be coming back and trying again. As I reckon this was just a one off experience.

In Alice Springs, it is a stylish cafe that is crowded with locals quietly on the outskirts of town. It's about 10 minutes by bicycle from the center, so it's a little hard to walk, but it's 200% worth it to stop by while walking. You can spend a relaxing time in the spacious space. If the weather is nice, try to choose a terrace seat instead of indoors! It feels so good to be warm!By the way, not only the essential coffee, but also the food is delicious, so it's perfect for brunch. The customer service is friendly and comfortable, so you will end up staying longer.
