Mower Place

Really really unimpressed with my experience here. Placed an order for an ignition coil on the 30th of December. I was told it was going to be here on Wednesday the 4th of January. That date came and went with no contact from the store. I called on Monday the 9th of January, asking where my part was. I was met on the phone by someone who told me my part was not in, he couldn't give me an ETA for when it was going to be in, not a single bit of information. I asked if he could find out when my part would be in. He agreed to call me back with an ETA, and no one called me back. Thank god I'm just a homeowner. Imagine if I was a business owner? You get told a date for your parts, then after 5 days past the ETA , still no communication. Then after you ask, you still get no answer, just an empty promise of a call back. I have no issue if parts get delayed, I have an issue with the lack of communication. I ended up cancelling my order and taking my order to eBay, where I purchased a genuine part for half of the price with a delivery date for 3 days later. I'd strongly suggest to anyone that if you need parts ordered in to take your business elsewhere. However on the plus side, the store was immaculately clean, laid out really well and staff were friendly and knowledgeable when I ordered. For over the counter parts, I'd use these guys without hesitation. The service in store was great, but trying to get information on where my part was, was like trying to squeeze blood out of a stone. To recap, if you just need over the counter spares and advice, or want to purchase new equipment, absolutely, the mower place is fantastic. But give them a miss for special order parts. Use an online parts lookup, and just get your parts somewhere else.

Great customer-focused attitude. I was looking for a Cub Cadet zero-turn mower but unfortunately it was sold out at the shop. Nason kindly pointed out Browns Plains shop is closer to my place and have stock also it will save me some delivery fees. Even knowing that I'm unlikely to purchase from the shop he helped answer load of my questions about the machine itself and the service frequency/items/costs. It was a great shop visiting experience for me.

Great team and great products. Staff is always helpful and willing to lend some advice. Stocks a nice range of stihl chainsaw equipment among other quality brands. My favourite of the stihl shops

I wanted a brush cutter/whipper snipper but I really had no clue. The salesman asked me a few questions and recommended the Sthl FSA57 rechargeable trimmer. It is absolutely brilliant. Light and simple to use. Perfect for my needs. Thankyou.

I was a customer of this store for many years when i was a contractor , i went in one day to purchase a ride on mower due to a ankle injury , the staff ended up offering me a job to which i accepted , i have recently left my employment , its a fast paced environment with a constant barrage of emails , phone calls and customers all wanting their machines fixed or to purchase new ones, for me coming from a customer to employee i have seen how much these guys go through , please be patient and understanding as parts ordered and stock levels are hard to keep up with. No one thinks about their mower until its not working , have it serviced in winter to avoid the queue

Took my old faithful MS170 chainsaw down for a service(I was hopeful thats all it needed) and was greeted by the workshop supervisor. After him having a look at it and running through what it may need and pricing on service and possible parts I deemed it to not justified in paying such money. So I asked him about a replacement, to also find out that they were on special. Winning! For an $50 I walked away with a new one instead because of his honesty. Yes I could have just said service the old girl, but figure time for an upgrade, Bring on the MS180. Great service and friendly staff. Cheers

I had to do some repairs on the lawn mower no one was open today except the boys at mower place in capalaba..( was the closest to me open)The boys knowledge of there product was unbelievable.They new exactly what I wanted and explain what was the was the best way to fix my mower.. It's not the closest mower shop to me. But will definitely going back to see Dean and The boys.. Totally worth it ! Best experience, very friendly, very clean, outstanding customer service!! Keep up the good work!!
