This lovely property has 7 cottages (2 and 3bdrm), clean and cute. We went away with some families and could all have our space but could meet centrally. It’s a wonderful set up. It has all the amenities you need. The owners are friendly and helpful and gave us some tips to help arrange tours and other local things to see.

Absolutely beautiful. The surrounds are so picturesque and the cabins fit in perfectly. The rooms were very large and comfortable with very tasteful decorations/updates, but being old cabins, the bathrooms and kitchens are a bit smaller than usual, so consider this in what you bring. The fire pit and BBQs are great to enjoy the outdoors as the sun sets. We really enjoyed the trail right next to the accommodation too. Also take note of the instructions in the mb email; the entrance on Google maps is really a good 150m off. Hopefully Google corrects it soon!

We stayed at the Aurora cabin and can highly recommend this great spot. Excellent quality cabin with new bathroom and kitchen. Our cabin was in a peaceful location and Bodhi in general is only a few minutes drive to central Daylesford.

Our family had an amazing weekend away at Bodhi. The estate is beautiful with something for everyone. Short drive to town for supplies, barista coffee, lunch options and Trentham Falls. Cottages were clean and cosy, we kept the fireplace going so the kids loved it. Got plenty of basketball in and the kids loved having a pool. Lots of space to relax and recharge. Each cottage is spaced well apart so we had a lot of space to ourselves. The communal pergola was perfect though as we gathered to have dinner, sit around the fireplace and roast marshmallows. All in all, highly highly recommend. Victorians who are looking for somewhere local, definitely check out Bodhi in Daylesford, you won't regret it :)

Spent 3D2N at this wonderful cottages. Surrounded by large forest literally. There was a 400m bush walk in the private forest. At night, it’s pitch black, one of its highlights for me as a stargazer. Mobile signal was scarce at best, internet was slow at best too. But no time for online anyway. :)

Beautiful setting. We had the Wanderlust cottage and its amazing. Management had put too much soul onto these place, recommended for couple and family alike. Tennis court, swimming pool, basketball hoop and large llawn for some activity. Will be back for sure, we had booked it through Ultiqa Club.

We stayed in the Wanderlust cottage and we were pleasantly surprised by the cosiness, the decor, the appliances and the tranquil setting. We forgot to bring tennis racquets and balls but these were supplied down at the court! Just a 5 minute drive to town for coffee or dinner, or to grab anything really. We were serenaded by the bird life each day and cannot wait to get back! Highly recommend Bodhi to anyone wanting that special getaway to unwind.

Fantastic little getaway place. Cosy, warm and inviting. Close to some great adventure places and nature. Common area of the cottage is minimal and very flexible with space, clean interiors and has kept a good rustic feel.Common outdoor area has plenty of space around a fire pit, which is handy. And cottages are spaced far apart from others for privacy as well.Just be careful when leaving the place, can be a little dangerous coming back out onto the main road.

Nice stay at Bodhi. We stayed in the Acacia cabin for 4 nights in October. Lovely interior. Fire was set and ready to light on arrival. It was a little difficult to heat the cabin up on our first night with both the fire and heater going, but once it all got going it was fine. The heating was not a problem any other night.Comfortable beds with lovely bed linen, although a couple of lower/low profile pillows would have been good, we found the pillows too high and a bit uncomfortable, for the kids too.We also enjoyed the little bush walk on the property.Well equipped kitchen, but there is no oven which can be a little limiting. The following are other things we had a problem with. Don’t get us wrong, we had a lovely stay, but we felt the following was not up to scratch and should have been better for the price paid:We had a problem with ants in our cabin. Don’t leave any food whatsoever out in the kitchen, the ants will find it! We had to keep any opened chocolate etc in the fridge. Even food that was not sweet had to be put away entirely. We had to make sure all crumbs were wiped up before going to bed. Being in a bush setting it might be an idea to have your cabins professionally sprayed annually by pest control for the comfort of guests. The ants would also appear in the bathroom every time we used the shower. They would crawl out from where the shower head attaches at the wall when water turned on. They were a bother. Also had a spider however we realise the spider could have come in with the firewood. The milk frother for the coffee machine in our kitchen didn’t work properly. It only frothed the milk on the cold setting. Hot setting didn’t work so we couldn’t really make ourselves coffee with the coffee machine as couldn’t have nice hot frothed milk with our coffee. There was something wrong with the hot button setting it seemed.A little complimentary hamper to have on arrival would have been nice. Lots of other properties that we’ve stayed at do this. Receiving an email asking us if we’d like to have a hamper on arrival for an extra $50 was not ideal nor appreciated, especially after paying the amount we did for our stay. There was a complimentary bottle of wine left which was nice, but a small complimentary hamper to accompany it to thank your guests for their stay would also be nice. Or just a decent hamper without the wine would also have been nice. We have stayed at another property in Daylesford and they had left us a great hamper, they use the exact same brand of hamper you charge $50 for, and they included theirs complimentary which was just lovely. The bathroom sink was a bit blocked and would fill up a bit.The rug in the living room seems quite dirty or dusty. It seemed it is need of a good shake and a good vacuum. I got heaps of dust and debris on my socks and clothes because of it which was a little annoying. We enjoyed playing a bit of tennis a couple of times during our stay which was nice, but the tennis court could really use some new tennis balls. There was only one ball that had a decent bounce, all the others were pretty old. There was also a hole in the sliding screen door which looks a bit old. The wooden decking out front also seemed to have a few weak spots, we felt a little uneasy in some places when walking along it.Might seem quite negative, but this is my honest feedback. I feel these things and feedback is not unreasonable especially considering the price we paid for the stay. However staying at Bodhi was lovely. Made for a lovely little escape with our family. Beautiful property, gorgeous surroundings. A very peaceful setting, yet close and convenient to town.

After staying at Bodhi a few times, I decided the place was so beautiful that I had to take my family and friends here for my 30th birthday. It was the perfect getaway to share with them because of the exceptional cottages, service and scenery.I can’t thank Bodhi enough for helping us create memories that would last a lifetime. This is definitely not the last time we will be staying here.
