Cedar Creek Falls

Staying at Surfers Paradise and this was a short trip by car to get closer to nature a bit.A short drive to this park/falls from the local shopping area and a local was good enough to give us some directions to some of the nearby attractions.Parking here at the park itself is limited (maybe a dozen spots with 2 allocated to disabled parking). Luckily we found someone leaving otherwise it would have been a bit of a walk from the main road area.The falls themself weren't overly big as I expect there hadn't been a lot of rainfall. We walked the path to a lower pool (maybe 10 - 15 mins) which was well formed, but would not suit those with wheels or limited mobility due to the gradient and steps. Some keen people were swimming, but the water to me in the late afternoon wasn't overly inviting.A nice spot outdoors for a visit and a bit of a short walk. Probably some longer trails about which we didn't try.

Very beautiful waterfall, and a good spot to take some great photos. No hiking is needed to reach the waterfall: the car park is right in front and only a 30 second walk away. Would recommend coming early if you want to enjoy the peace and quiet, even around 9:30 am it can get quite busy. Overall a very nice spot to swim and spend some time at.

A must do experience....Perfect example of what nature's beauty. Awesome day, amazing water temperature no better way to spend the day relaxing, lazing away and taking several dips at your own leisure.Parking is very very close.

Beautiful waterfall about 20-30 minutes out from Airlie Beach. The place was quite busy when we arrived. There is parking available for about 15 cars. There are toilets but keep in mind that they’re drop down toilets! The waterfall itself is very nice, with a large body of freshwater to relax in. It was quite warm on the day we came. If you’re coming here, be aware that the little rocks at the coast/ edge are quite hard and difficult to walk on. The larger rocks are quite mossy and slippery so be careful when entering and exiting! Otherwise, I highly recommend coming out here!

Beautiful natural waterfall. Short Drive from the main road straight to the falls. No walking/hiking required. Just park your car and you are there.The water was so cool and clean. There is a short walk up to the top of the falls if you wanted to explore. However it is rugged, steep and can be wet if raining. About a 10min walk up however I'd say its intermediate and wouldn't recommend it to people who don't have suitable footwear.Overall a beautiful place to chill, swim and have lunch. Highly recommend.

Beautiful flowing falls, with a fresh creek to cool off in. Sand shoes recommended as it rocky and can be slippery. The car park is not that big and the facilities are limited. It’s about a 50m walk to the creek from the car park.

Beautiful spot, only 30 second walk from the car! You can walk further and get to the top of the waterfall if you choose (uneven and steep in parts)Must do if your in the area
