We were so happy to see this place open when we turned up. We ordered 2 cocktails ( fairly basic) and they took 30 minutes to be made (bad decison!). I would understand if it was insanely busy but it was busy but not over the top. I asked the manager who went and pushed them along but then also said what do you want me to do I just started work. If you are going to offer something make sure you have the ability to do it.

Catch up with a mate Tuesday night so stocked up on some starters.Plenty of seating, QR code to order food.Mozzarella sticks and chicken wings are next level. Whatever magic coating they use on the wings - don’t change!!! Soooo good.Didn’t have enough room for the mains, but it was a lovely evening.

Since discovering this tavern, my partner and I have been almost every week for one of their specials. Have been to some other taverns in the area with almost identical menus, but the services here is what makes it worth that little extra drive.The staff are exceptional. Always friendly, and bright. I’ve only had one minor issue with a slender blonde woman who was very judgemental at the fact that I requested the extra sauce I paid for “you want more?!” But this was only minor, and ironically haven’t seen that woman there for some time now. All other staff, bar and wait staff, have been great.The food, in tight times like this, the value for money is exceptional. And the variety of food on the menu leaves us plenty to choose from even though I do have my go to favourites.Cleary they’re doing something right, they get busier every week! My favourite local

I tried the fish and chips twice. The meal size is pretty good. But both times it was very bland, the batter does not have any seasoning at all. The food arrived in 4 minutes which seems to me that the fish was pre-cooked.3 stars for a nice lake view.

I am extremely impressed with the food and service here! I've been to many places in Brisbane and GC but this is the place for delicious meals at great prices. We went on a Monday night and it was buy 2 main meals and get 1 free. I'll definitely be back! Thank you

Great food, great service. Staff are incredible. HR people certainly know what they are doing. We now go there 3 to 4 times a week as our local from Benowa. Many of our friends after taking them there, also keep coming. Thanks for inviting me to join NRL Tipping comp. I am coming 1st. Please keep up the good work, Angie & Debbie. Fab Venue, Beaut Decor, Great Vibe !!Located at 150 Bundall Road Bundall, Opposite HOTA.Locals Will Remember This As One 50 Tavern Or Even Earlier As Surfers Rowers.Excellent Live Music, Friendly Staff & Really Great Food !!

really pleasant tavern for what was quite a quick but delicious dinner, duty manager greeted us and was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our meals arrived quite quickly, and were all really well presented and tasty. The beef salad was really nice, just a good size for a light and healthy meal with gorgonzola cheese, delicious. Will definitely be back
