What an amazing Coles! They have barely any normal check-outs now, most of the are self-checkouts, so you can buy your items and leave with minimal human interaction!

I'm overwhelmed by the care given to me by Coles Southlands staff. First, a female employee kindly helped me to find some playdo, then Cait at the checkout made me feel very welcome. I then left the store and couldn't find my husband. A kindly family helped me, then several Coles staff members went out of their way to help, as I was feeling a bit giddy. Some of the staff's names are Amanda, Lyn, and Abdul. I only spent $1.75 and received abundantly more in help from the staff. Thank you SO much!

New items with half prices on every Wednesday! Some new items were tagged with lesser discounts also. However, when the discounted items were all sold out, a rain check could be placed for that same item price when the new stocks have arrived. Cheers! (2022-02)

Disgusting attitude by Mallika at the front desk who refused to refund me correctly and proceeded to throw my money at me and walk off while I was still speaking. Assuming she’s a in a supervisor position that she’s clearly incompetent to be fulfilling if she can’t uphold the smallest amount of respect towards genuine customers. If you hate your job don’t make the customers hate you too. Very passive aggressive during the conversation and was acting like she owned the world the whole time. Humble yourself darling. Hope she can learn and have some self respect to treat people better.

Good place to shop for the weekly groceries.Since self serve was added it's faster too.It is busy a lot of the time, but you can still go for a quick shop without being worried about being held up in line as it is mostly self serve now.The caveat to this is if you want someone to check your items through, there is almost always a queue.
