Canning Vale Indoor Beach Volleyball

This venue has some of the worst umpiring I've seen across volleyball in Perth, from other indoor beach comps, outdoor beach & indoor court. Almost every set is call a double unless its performed at a very high level (this is a social competition). I've played here for about 10 weeks now and its pretty clear that the umpires need actual training on the rules of beach volleyball on what is consider a double and what is a lift/carry. My biggest problem is that for new players its impossible to improve one of the most vital skills (the set) because they are afraid to get called for a double almost every time. It is not just one umpire here either i have experienced this with multiple.Something to note, i have played volleyball for years including at the elite level of indoor court and i have never seen umpiring this bad in all the years I've played.If you are a new player looking to get into volleyball this is not the venue for you.

Terrible experience, only played around 20 minutes in the two hours i was there, cos the owner kept putting our team on a bye. Left because i didn’t wanna pay to spend time sitting around. Owner needs to take a course in customer service.

Been going here for 2 years now. It's a great sporting community to be a part of. Competitive and social games to suit all needs. The new owner has been making great changes to improve the centre, can't wait to see what else happens.

I am a grand parent from a school that was booked in for a interschool carnival and to be quite disappointed that their were 8 schools out the front of your premises their were kids everywhere even to tge point we as parents have to pay for busses and food for kids.What a joke to see so many disappointed kids let alone the schools and all the waist of organization's for an ecent like this it was my grand daughters 1st carnival.The poorest thing i have ever seen and duty of care for kids on the streets.

Fantastic indoor volleyball centre with very friendly staff. Even has a baby change room for anyone wanting to bring down the family.

I play here more than twice a week every nice place and staff always friendly. Its a very social place and everyone is welcoming to anyone who wants to give it a go.
