Cannot fault these pies, my favourite panang pumpkin, you dont even miss the meat as the flavour is ridiculous. Be quick as after 1pm you may not get your first choice for lunch.

Great pies. Can be frustrating to eat as they fall apart. They don't give you a napkin. Definitely ask for one... You'll need it

The crispy puff pastry and sauces of these pies are out this world! My husband reckoned it was the best pie he had ever had.The Thai Green Chicken Curry pie was delicious with the sauce sweet and creamy and the spice heat was barely mild, so heat lovers should expect less. The family had Steak & Mushroom and Steak & Pepper - both had good chunks of beef and lovely gravy.We really wanted to try the Creamy Cauliflower and others too so we ended up bringing a cooler bag with ice to take a bundle back home to Melbourne. They do a deal for 6 pies that’s nicely packed into a pizza-type box that’s well-marked for the selection and heating instructions.Thanks Gum Tree Pies Wodonga staff for the friendly service too. It was a perfect, convenient lunch on a winter’s day in an arty-heritage train setting.

Saw a few reviews on social media about how good the pies are here. Had chance to visit today.I tried the chicken and mushroom pie and a sausage roll. Both were large in size.The pie was excellent. Although it came in a fo tray, the bottom was not overly soggy and was well cooked overall. The filling was delicious. Lots of big chicken chunks, large pieces of mushroom and great creamy mushroom flavour. I don't often get a chicken pie but this was excellent. 9/10The sausage roll was next level. One of the best I have had. Huge! Great flavour and not too much filler. 9.5/10.

Gum Tree Pies Wodonga
Here in Oz on a business trip. This is the third Gum Tree Pie Shop I have visited. They have all been excellent. Super good food, reasonably priced and courteous service at all three (Yackandandah, Beechworth and Wadonga). The chicken and mushroom is my favorite so far! Buttery flaky top crust and I haven’t had one with a soggy bottom yet. Just right!

Possibly the best pies in Australia.Slow cooked meats, excellent pastry and gravy.Gluten free caramel slice is outstanding as well.Perfect stopover on a road trip!

The long queue says it all. They make GREAT pies.We regularly enjoy the best pies in the area at our local Gumtree Pies.Love the Veg options my fav is Penang Pumpkin.Also the Creamy Cauliflower is good.

Situated in a mock train carriage at Junction Square 100m walk from food pods or park behind old railway buildings. Just love the Green Thai curry pie. Full meal in one pie! Staff were attentive. Meat eater heaven with chunky Lamb or Steak pies. (See photos for full menu) Plenty of outdoor seating and good historic train photos on billboard size panels that give mood. Good for photos with kids.
