Brookes Street Nambour Community Kindergarten

My son LOVES this Kindy. Since day one, all I can hear from him is “school is fun”. This Kindy is such a wonderful, positive and inclusive community I’m lucky my little one to be a part of. My son is in the spectrum and I am forever grateful for the fantastic team for their patience and understanding. I couldn’t be happier!

My son started at Brooke’s street kindy a few weeks ago and he absolutely loves it already. He had previously attended 2 different long daycares and I feel he is already thriving better at kindy, he is getting involved in the activities whereas at daycare I feel he got lost a bit and wouldn’t join in. The teacher are soo lovely and approachable and I love the fact you see the same staff in the afternoon as you do in the morning at drop, so you will get a more accurate run down of how your child’s day was.Highly recommend for anyone to send their little ones to this Kindy.

Brookes Street kindy has a beautifully designed garden for natural play. The educators are amazing at their job and so friendly. They provide new activities for the children to be involved in each week and nurture personal responsibility in their daily routine. My children became more confident and got to explore so many different options for play and learning. It's a community kindergarten so the fees are very reasonable and not only do our kids feel a strong sense of belonging but it extends to us as well.

So glad I found this hidden gem!!!Brookes St has been so incredibly supportive and welcoming for our boy.After trying 2 other centres and having a multitude of issues, Brookes St has been a breath of fresh air!! The team is amazing and our boy looks forward to his days every week.A huge thankyou to the team! You've made a huge difference to his confidence and willingness to learn.

We absolutely love Brookes St -Community Kindergarten. Once our beloved Kameruka closed we tried more traditional long day care but found it chaotic, lacked a sense of community and intimacy between the staff and families and left us with an uncomfortable feeling in our stomach after drop off knowing it wasn’t what was best for us and our family. Then we got lucky and came across Brookes St Kindergarten and honestly has been nothing but a truly positive experience. Our son asks all week to go there and chats non stop about his friends and teachers. I could not recommend anywhere more! Just wanted to spread the word on this wonderful community kindy!

My son was enrolled at Brookes street kindergarten for 2 years; The teachers are very friendly, caring and supportive. Sandy the lead educator at Brookes street helped me greatly when coming to the decision if my child should have a delayed exit from the Kindy program. Completing 2 years at Kindy done wonders for my son in preparing him for the transition to prep and I am grateful to Brookes Street Kindergarten for giving us that opportunity. My Son loved to attend Kindy for him 2 days a week was never enough!
