Been my regular spot for the past few months. Go every two weeks. Always honest with time frames and squeeze me in if possible. Regular barber Asaeli (past 2 years) never disappoints. Always making my hair look fresh and clean.

I usually focus on leaving a positive review but today's experience was overall unpleasant. Two issues:1) Rough handling. Throughout the cut, the barber was too firmly grabbing my hair and using it to move my head towards a direction to aid their cutting angle. Other Grindstone Barbers would gently prod or ask.2) When the electric clipper was catching on my hair (> 5 times), I had to move twice because the pain was too much (receiving hair cuts for a few decades, this did not feel normal). I was told it was because that area of my head was sensitive but nothing was mentioned about the clipper or how it was used? Perhaps the barber should properly maintain the sharpness of their blades, especially when used on one customer after another. Blaming the client was rather unprofessional.The cut was quick but it wasn't exactly a rushed job either compared to other Grindstone Barbers. It just felt like this barber did not want to be there cutting hair today, particularly with moments of gazing out the shop rather than focusing on their craft when the electric clipper blade was on. The cut was $50 and a lot less scissors was used compared to other Grindstone joints.

Lovely cafe! Very helpful with my baby nephew who needed a high chair, super smiles and a laid back atmosphere, presentable and delicious food too! definately reccomend this cafe, next time I'll get a hair cut (because you know it's literally a corner away!) Thankyou guys for your hospitality.

Excellent service at Hoppers Crossing Grindstone, have been coming to this store for some time. Had a fade done by Anthony, great cut and awesome customer service. Always a great experience.

Anthony cut my hair perfectly today; he seems to be far more skilled than other barbers I've been to. I'll surely return, and he had a pleasant demeanour.
