The Black Bull Motel

I stayed at the Black Bull for 4 days, I was starting a new job and had moved from New Zealand to Traralgon. I was super busy during the day so it was godsend to come back to a cosy warm room and a super comfy bed!!!The owners were so kind and caring, I can't fault their hospitality and the continental breakfast was delicious!!!My room was in the process of being renovated so there were a few things that were left unfinished including a large gap in the window, it meant the bathroom was very cold, I also found the water in the shower went cold after a period of time, I had to wash the conditioner out in cold water. But, other than that I loved staying here

Warm welcome and greeting from the owner and staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Love the management's effort to reduce waste by not giving out little shampoo bottles.

Great location - easy five minute walk to town. Lovely fresh renovated room which was very comfortable. Generous breakfast and hospitable staff.

Very comfortable room. Walking distance to shopping centre.Breakfast was a great bonus. Staff very friendly and very obliging. I would love to go back there sometime

The Black Bull motel was in a perfect location for our basketball tournament. The communication back and forth for bookings was spot on. Very easy to deal with and was able to accomodate with our needs as we required 8 rooms. Our parents and children from our team loved the pool. All commented it was really clean and enjoyable to be in on a 35 degree day. Even great area to all meet up with our dinner around the pool to chat, talk and play games. Breakfast was plenty as everyone was quite satisfied.Thanks again and we'll see you again next year.Wallan u18girls basketball team.

Could not have asked for a better experience with accomodation than the one we’ve just had on the weekend.The rooms were immaculate and in a great location. Have not experienced hosts as wonderful as this, quite possibly ever. We had 7 rooms over the two nights for a sporting event, that they even came to support us at, and every transaction was seamless. To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. We will absolutely stay with you guys whenever we’re back in town! Can’t recommend highly enough!!

Newly renovated room. Staff and management are very friendly. Clean rooms in a quiet area. Highly recommended. Will go back again, happy customer here ❤️

Great central location very friendly staff and comfortable rooms.Toilet was a bit close to the bathroom cupboard though so bigger people would have to squeeze on.Overall great place
