Beer garden on the rooftop was great despite the cold weather. There was a mixup with the order and lack of cutlery but staff resolved it and they gave us extra drink to apologise. Hood service and atmosphere..I enjoyed watching the sunset.

A great place for the area but I feel like they can do more to create a better atmosphere. The rooftop is good but there's a lot of tables and umbrellas that look like they're stored up there so it feels a bit unwelcoming. Will come back as it's pretty much one of a kind for the area! FYI the Sunday roast is of a good standard and is only $25 including a drink.

We were on the hunt for a restaurant in Ringwood that was easy to find, and boy, were we impressed, what a fantastic and spacious place! Their chicken parma is absolutely delicious, and the best part is, it's gluten-free! The new owners have really created a vibe here. Plus happy hour is from 4-6pm, you cant go wrong.

I love it at The Suburban. They have beers as dark as my soul, and the food is excellent!The atmosphere is fantastic but roaring on a Friday. However, you can enjoy a more laid-back meal on a weeknight.Some old reviews don’t do justice to the new ownership.

The interior is really cute, especially with all natural plants and the narrow balcony with vintage chairs.Both service and food can use some improvements, there's no casual sitting downstairs next to the bar, the rooftop garden's closed but no sign so you don't go all the way up.I'd go back there again and hope to see more businesses in the area grow and stick around.

Staff were friendly and service was good. Food wasn’t anything to rave about for the cost and the brownie dessert was so horribly rich. I have eaten here a few times last one being about a year ago and the food was much better, unfortunately wasn’t amazing tonight.

SuBurban just opened recently and the restaurant as well as the roof top bar is very nice. Beer and wine selection is good and even having some alcohol free beers available which is awesome if you are the dedicated driver!Service is great and the owners are extremely nice and know their business. We had various meals from steak (which was cooked nicely) over chicken (which was juicy and not dry) to lamb which were cooked very good.We will come back for our next team dinner!

I have eaten here once before and didn't like it. This was the second time and I'm not sure why I went back. I had a porterhouse steak which was allegedly 300g. It was steak (over cooked), on a plate with some rocket leaves. I had the pleasure of paying $42 for this extortion. I was then forced to part with another 12 bucks for a small bowl of chips just to make a meal out of it. My daughter had pan fried gnocchi which was barely a meal and very dry. My friend had a burger which he said was of McDonalds quality". The locally brewed craft beer was pretty decent and about what you would expect to pay for overpriced craft beer. In all I would not recommend wasting you time with this place. If you like paying premium prices for mediocre food then

I visited this venue years ago for a drink on the rooftop but obviously never reviewed. Not sure if it’s still the same owners upon our return but it was certainly very busy. The menu itself is quite limited and there’s a different one for the rooftop which is a bit odd but we went with the downstairs seating option given the cold weather and I ordered a fail safe parma.As far as parmas go it wasn’t the greatest it lacked enough sauce and cheese for me but I enjoyed the chips. The pedestrian slaw may as well not have been on the plate as far as I was concerned though the parma itself was sizeable. So much potential in this venue so I am disappointed that the local didn’t do this classic dish justice
