The Lydoun Motel

Staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Great value for what we got. The motel is next to the main railway line which woke me up a couple of times. Bed was extremely comfortable. Easy to find just off the freeway.

Room Spotless, comfy bed, quiet, very well priced, owners lovely, quick and easy access from the hume, bonus points as i could fit my truck directly out the front of the motel.

So comfortable. Welcoming people. Big room and very relaxing. Great bed. Lovely bathroom. Quiet. Bird and Bike Cafe there with excellent food. Lovely town with roses and honeysuckle scenting the air. I'll return.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and lovely location.

We enjoyed the welcoming friendly helpful staff. While Chiltern does not offer much in the way of eating facilities the receptionist advised us on how & what Barnawatha might offer. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, price was affordable.

I continue to enjoy staying at the Lydoun. During my last visit my wife and I, together with our families, stayed at the Lydoun for several nights as part of a group booking for our wedding, which was held at Chiltern. It was a most enjoyable stay. The rooms were, as always, neat, clean, and comfortable. The managers also gave us a discount as part of the group booking. On top of this, they catered for our wedding afternoon tea. The food was good and reasonably priced. It all made for a most enjoyable and happy weekend.As I've said in previous reviews, the Lydoun is not luxurious, but it's still a great place to stay. It is close to a busy railway line, with trains passing through at night, but I actually enjoy that.Overall, I highly recommend

We go to the bird and bike for breakfast fairly often. We stayed at the motel a couple of years back and remember the room being clean tidy and comfortable. Staff here are very friendly. We like it but selfishly we don't want to many people knowing about it. Try a shiraz and a long mach with the big breakfast and the day is off to a good start. Also a orange juice.

The staff were absolutely amazing, friendly helpful and nothing was too hard for them..... food was delicious... wouldn't stay anywhere.else
