Robins Kitchen Runaway Bay

Store open hours are incorrect. Maps and robins kitchen website says they open from 9am. Raced down at 9:30am to find store still not open. I understand some businesses have changed there trading hours due to covid but it’s not hard to update trade hours on your website.

Friendly staff and great prices

Really bias service against males. Waited to be served after two females ahead of me that received pleasant enough service, only to witness a total change in demeanour when talking to me asking for a certain product. Was brushed off and told was only available to buy at either Myers or David Jones, yet Robins Kitchen website shows product should have been available there!! Not a nice place to shop.

We visited this store again yesterday. Probably about our 3rd visit and definitely will be our last. The staff are unhelpful and don’t even bother to offer assistance to help you find anything. We walked around the store for 5 mins trying to find what we were looking for. There were 2 staff in the store and no other customers. The store is over filled, badly organised and really hard to find anything. We were in a corner trying to find a baking tool and finally someone approached us but it was only to get past us and ask us to move so they could restock the shelf. Unbelievable. This is the 3rd time we have been here and each time the same poor unhelpful customer service. No wonder people buy online these days. Your money is spent elsewhere. I recommend Kitchen Warehouse. Amazing service.

Apologies for the 1 Star ⭐️But until you start accepting CASH again this will remain. Covids gone, no mandates around, no longer any mask wearing requirements even in airport and on planes. Move with the times!You should be able to use Australian Currency in your stores!This is just store owner being lazy and not wanting to deal with counting tills.5 Stars to your employees they were great!

Had the worst customer experience in this store. I went in to purchase a product that was clearly tagged 13.99 under the product. I grabbed the product and went to the counter. At the counter the young girl rung up the price and it was dearer. I said to her the price was lower on the tag. She remarked no that’s true price. I walked over to the product with her and pointed it out. She said no the description says that for another product. The description was in size 6 font barely readable and sitting under the wrong product... this was a clear error from the store. The rude girls comment was, under consumer law if the description is on there then that is fine. Prior to this point I had already decided I didn’t want the product anymore. However due to the young girls bad customer service I walked back and said well it’s got nothing to do with consumer law, it’s got to do with confusing customers. You should be tagging the product with the right price tag and not use that as an excuse. As I walked out I saw her whispering to her co worker and smirking, I told her she was very unprofessional and walked out. I’m irate at her customer service skills and at no point was I rude to her prior to telling her she’s unprofessional. A simple sorry there was an error with the tags would have been suffice not her rude attitude towards me, making me feel like I had done the wrong thing by not reading her size 6 font. I’m currently in the process of filling a few rental properties with kitchen Utensils. I will not be using your brand for future purchases ever again and will also advise all to watch they don’t get ripped off.

Knowledgeable about their products and range. Love shopping here for quality items.

I bought a sifter a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately it was useless. When I returned the item to the shop, the sales person was quite cheerful until she realised I wanted to return the item. Her demeanour changed so quick. She asked why I wanted to return the item and I said, it was useless and got stuck when I had flour in it. She then proceeded to sift an empty sifter and said I'll have to take your word for it!" Seriously!!! Is she calling me a liar? From that moment on

They don't take cash and havn't for years.. didn't even think that was legal... Heaps of places just as good\better at Harbour Town
