Griffin Self Storage stored a 4X4 Ute for us for several years. When we delivered it to them we intended to be back with in a year maybe 2 years maximum. At the time John was happy to store it and said it would be looked at an run on a regular basis - just to ensure the batteries would be good to go etc. Of course 'Covid' came and the Ute remained locked up for longer. When emailed to ask if all was well with the Vehicle we were assured it was fine. Of course costing us a lot in storage fees. When we finally had a date to collect it we advised them of a pickup date. The reply was very slow in coming having sent several emails (from NZ) When it did come we were assured it was in running order and would be delivered to town on the given date. When that day came.........no Ute. Tracked John down and he knew nothing about our Ute and said we could go and pick it up. It was filthy and had very flat batteries. Anyone considering this type of storage for a vehicle and believing it might be maintained need to reconsider.
