Waited an hour in line just for them to tell us we could’ve done it online which we did and it didn’t work that’s why we were there obviously

Really busy store.Went to Port my number from optis on a sim only plan.After waiting for 20 mins, was told that it would be another 90 minutes before I could be seen by a sales rep.It's not the fact that it's busy that is disappointing, it's the lack of organisation in the store. They rally need to adopt a ticketing system like Apple.Ultimately, I decided to stay with optus

Very impressed with Lisa , the customer controller at Mittagong, and the first responder to our inquiry. Smiling face and the perfect bubbly personality customers need to see at a Telstra shop. Within minutes she had helped us with our inquiries. Great staff member, while waiting we were watching her, she was helping with other inquiries. Great asset to the company.

Wade at Mittagong is an absolute tech champion!Just ported my number over after 11 years with Vodafone, having moved to Southern Highlands I didn't get any reception and had to change over. Decided to get internet as well, as Telstra was the only provider I could get for my new address.It was unfortunate that the staff were inundated with customers though, as Telstra closed down a lot of their call centres and so anyone needing assistance had to go in store. Though no fault of the retail staff, in the 60 minutes I was in there I counted 5 customers abusing staff which was a bit average. They were obviously working as fast as they could! I didn't see any staff standing around or not assisting anyone at either of my visits.Got my NBN fixed wireless installed in 2 weeks. I read about the process online, how the antenna is fixed; to avoid confusion all I had to do was reaffirm with Wade what I read online, he acknowledged what happens, which was great.Scooting back over to upgrade my old galaxy in a few months or whenever it decides to stop turning on again - A1 service from wade and the team!One more thing though - I can confirm for Wade that running on mobile backup does work without being plugged in (see photo). Its only about 1mbps but its steady. Will wait to plug it in when the antenna is up!

Staff are good but need to be a lot more professional..need more staff its a waiting game ..to many procedures.They need to be more out going its like some died in there ..any way .Hope this helps people knowing what there getting them self's into ..I suppose i might had been the unlucky ones ...Happy days Mickey c

Disappointing service received yesterday! I don't think it's good customer service when a staff member laughs at your issue when they are not able to help you with a problem. Went over to Optus at Mittagong and received A" plus customer service. They actually wanted to help me and sat with me and worked through the technical issue. So glad I transferred back to Optus. Telstra needs to learn some basic customer service skills. Laughing at your customers is not cool!"
