I will not support this lifeline store. Prices are ridiculous: 30$ for a saucepan, $300 for a jesus picture in a frame, $600 for two bedside tables. Granted they were decent items but it is absolutely greedy to charge this much for second hand items. Where are less fornunate families meant to shop for every day items if it isn't at an op shop?

How utterly disappointing to discover lifeline in Herries street is now a cashless store. I don’t support this move to become a cashless society. I’ve been in a town that shutdown for a week due to the Telstra tower being worked on. If you didn’t have cash, you couldn’t buy food or fuel. Shops had to close. You couldn’t get money out. Cashless society means no more money in birthday/Xmas cards for the kids, no more markets, no more fetes, sausage sizzle fund raisers, raffles in pubs to support local sports clubs. I prefer my cash thanks and if I can not use cash in your store, you have lost my business and support.

Clothing prices are reasonable, everything else is a little pricey. Cane clothes basket was 100 dollars! Yucky old pictures and stained furniture very expensive for an Op Shop. Obviously someone is pricing these items in store, they need to get a clue. Staff are friendly and helpful. Easy parking.

Hands down the most obscenely overpriced op shop in South-East Queensland. Their prices make antique stores seem like your local dollar shop. The only explanation I can come up with is that the volunteers intentionally overprice the stock to avoid selling anything and then having to restock.

I am not surprised by the other comments. Do not shop here if you're on a budget you have amart for furniture and kmart for clothes and other things. That's the price ranges you are looking at if you shop here.I had shopped there years ago and bought some awesome Christmas ornaments at reasonable prices. But nothing like that now.

Pricing is very inconsistent at this op shop, while on the odd occasion they'll have overstock clearance on furniture and bric-a-brac of say 50% off - that only makes the price 'reasonable'. The prices on electrical goods are outrageous, especially considering that you'll get a warranty at places like K-Mart for the same price / often cheaper. Stock sits around because it's overpriced, same pieces of average looking furniture sitting around for months - pictures of religious figures with ridiculous prices have been at this store for YEARS, yep that's correct, YEARS. Wouldn't donate my goods here and often gets skipped over on our op shop trips because low rotation of stock and we can't afford the ludicrous pricing. I feel sorry for the kind and friendly volunteers, I always get a friendly welcome and they work extremely hard - but the lifeline corporation has a whole, needs to wake up to themselves.

Honestly, cheaper to buy stuff at Myers than here. I’m not paying $20 for a second hand letter holder. That is ridiculous. The cheapest thing I could find was the vending machine soft drinks on the way out.

Visited yesterday and clothing fill a bag for $10. Very happy with my purchases. Yes the vintage items may seem expensive but prices are compatible with vintage stores and there were some rare pieces there.
