What an absolute corker. A pub that blends the best of the old (including a proper front bar) with the new pretty much seamlessly.We sought refuge from the madding NYE crowds in said bar (Betty's Corner, hope she wasn't upset) for a few coldies but will be back for more beers and a meal real soon.Not very often these days that I find a pub where I say 'I wish this was my local'

BE 5 STAR i guess if you could tell the place was open as no lights or signs to indicae saw on google tha it was a bar as titanic said was open but was closed when we walked all the waythere on way to williamstown railway.Had a few drinks, was great service was great even though was almost about to close. Brookvale union Ginger beer on tap was delicious compared to other places have had it at where it tasted dirty but here at Stags Head was refreshingly tasty!!!!! Had pints.Will return!Just hard to spot late at night.

A pleasant and laid back local pub with good food and flowing beer. Service was quick and friendly. Can't ask for much more than that. Will certainly visit again.

Great old Victorian charm. Had chicken Bolognese, excellent, likable, quiet atmosphere charming old hotel.Will be back.

Great place. Good live music, lovely pino gri, friendly crowd. Only negative is there are not enough tables. Small area yes, but could be opened up more if thought out well

Stags Head Hotel
Intimate, country feel in the backstreets of old Williamstown. Lovely staff and live music on a Sunday afternoon. Not much has changed since growing up in Willy 40 years ago. Hard to find time machines like this. Get in the TARDIS it's bigger inside than you think.
