The husband and wife team that run this mechanic are one of Northcote's best kept secrets. A family member referred me to them and they replaced failed starter motor, worn out brakes and fan belt on my 16 year old Honda. I was very happy with the customer service, price is competitive, and my car now runs beautifully again. I will bring my car to them for regular maintenance going forward.

I've been going to Autocare Automotive for a few years now and could not recommend them enough. As a young woman going to a car mechanic sometimes feels like I am being ripped off but there I have always had the best service with very reasonable pricing. Carmel is so fantastic to work with and last time I went in for my service they had even patched up a scrape I had on the side of the car which I so appreciated.

We have been going to Autocare Automotive since 2009. Bill and Carmel are an outstanding team. Carmel's level of customer service is rare these days. She always goes out of her way to find a day and time that suits and is amazingly cheerful. Bill is terrific at letting us know what we need to do to keep our car in good condition. His mechanical knowledge is exceptional - and he is a great communicator and very open and honest and transparent about the costs of things. We cannot recommend highly enough.

Needed a last minute Road worthy certificate completed after a hasty used vehicle purchase. Carmel was extremly hospitable and accomodating. She was able and willing to squeeze me in the morning of my enquiry. There was even a local power outage that afternoon and her team was still able to provide a 1 day turnaround for the RWC issuance. The technical feedback was diligant and provided me with additional confidence after having made such a rushed purchase. I am local to the area which made accessing Autocare's services easy but would be willing to travel to access the workshops services again, as professional and relliable help is always difficult to find. This place gives an excellent service. I have come to them for 3+ years now and trust them explicitly. They wont rip you off like some mechanics, honest about what needs replacing, when and how much. Carmel is lovely and gives a great customer service and a chat. I will be coming back for many years to come!
