Safety wise this place is ok but the fudd rules and arrogant staff are a real turn away

@SSAA. Ran into the rudest, most arrogant Range Officer in my 25 years of using SSAA ranges around Australia today. The range is open until 12. I arrived with my daughter at 11 to run through some fundamentals with her .22. He clearly did not want us to sign on and argued that it would take too long to sign on. Honestly I have never been spoken to or treated so rudely in my life and I was in the Army for 13 years. I was embarassed that my daughter had witness this guys ramblings. We left without shooting, which your Range Officer seemed really smug and happy about. If you want to be considered a legitimate sporting club then you you need to behave like one.

Rudest most arrogant and down right nasty range officer I’ve ever had the displeasure to meet... literally yelled at me when I made an innocent mistake that had ZERO safety consequences..

Sitting hear listening to gun shots that can not be drowned out with TV or music... Lovely. And now you have started with all this ruckus on Thursdays also...ridiculous! How come we were not forewarned? How much can we be expected to endure?Not Happy

Great spot for the kids to have thier first shoot.Very reasonable prices and people willing to teach you about the safe handling and use of firearms.You need id and be over 11yrs 1day.Everything supplied.

I have been to the North Arm Rifle Club a few times now and had a great experience and am joining as a member. Everyone I have come across at the club has been incredibly friendly and helpful, freely giving information and advice and clearly love their sport.I did however have a poor experience at the Sporting Shooters which is just up the road, where I came across the kind of attitude in some of these other reviews.I am pretty confident the negative reviews have been mistakenly been placed on the North Arm Rifle Club instead of the Sporting Shooters.

Love the smell of gunfire.
