Terrible! I booked 2 months in advance for both my daughters (7&9) to get their hair done for a wedding. They were super excited. We turn up at 1150am for the 12pm appt and told they ‘can’t fit us in’. We had a booking!!!! They said we’d need to find somewhere else. No help to find somewhere else, no apology and no phone call to tell us before we got there. We are from out of town. This is disgraceful service and no one should ever trust booking here - lest your appt gets cancelled and you are told to walk the streets of Brisbane city on a Saturday to find somewhere that will take you off the street. Unbelievable and undeserving of any business. If this guy in the salon worked for me, I’d sack him. Pathetic non -service.One star because I could give zero.

SJ is so friendly, passionate and above all, knowledgeable!If you’re needing some help to pick the perfect hair styling tool, she’s your girl.No matter how many questions I asked regarding various styling tool manufacturers’ country of origin, technical specifications, warranties etc, SJ had the answers. She genuinely wanted to help and I could see she was truly passionate about educating others to achieve the best results, whilst factoring in my individual hair type, budget and ultimate hair goals. Thanks so much SJ! You’re an absolute gem and a credit to your team

Do NOT go here! Worst experience I've ever had. I paid $230 for a blue/turquoise bob - I got a burnt orange mess (see photos) - my hair was destroyed by Hayley. When I complained, I was told it would be another $140 - not including the colour - to get my hair fixed. I left in tears with this mess of orange hair and a very insincere apology accompanied by a smirk from Kim the manager.

Asked for curtain bangs and long layers. Mostly was fine until she started cutting the bangs without even parting my hair or making sure it was straight. I asked her the part it properly but she clearly cut more off the left side than the right. Bangs are uneven, thicker and shorter on the left than on the right. Being generous given she was clearly new to the salon and didn’t know where anything was kept. Girl at the front desk also wasn’t welcoming at all

I went there Last Saturday and that was make me sure I’m not gonna shop in store anymore at there.I have been shopping at hair house at least 2 years till then .So excited to get olaplex dry shampoo and what wrong with reception lady.Since I walk in and walk out she left in dead silence.I mean if you can’t even say Hi and thank you to customer why you are there??? But that is not only a time I have experience not welcoming almost most of the time .Ar they ok??Just so annoying with Queen plaza Hair house shop ,chemside one is better.

Staff are very rude. Came in to get my shampoo and conditioner that this brand does stock and I was told to go to mecca as this store doesn’t stock it. I wanted to get pureology shampoo and conditioner. Which the brand does stock. When I was looking at other shampoos and conditioners and a brand called pure I was told that isn’t the brand I want, which I know, but I was looking at other brands as I needed hair products. Not very helpful customer service, would not waste your money on this company.

I came from Adelaide for a wedding in Brisbane and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my style on the day. I expected to pay much more for it! The apprentice did such a wonderful job on my hair and I got a lot of compliments for it. The curls lasted for days. Loved it! Thank you.

Came in to buy some products with my partner. We were approached by an employee who overall was rude, judgy and looked like they didn’t wanna be there. They didn’t ask any questions to find out what we were looking for, recommended the most basic thing, we ended up having to ask questions and then found what we needed on our own. No help.I work in customer service, I know how hard it is sometimes. My partner and I were both excited by our purchases and they honestly killed my mood. Not going there again.

I went to buy some treatment for my hair. The store leader on their Queen street salon was very rude. Is she ok? I felt like I was ruining her day, when I asked her a question she seamed offended that someone like me dare talk to her highness self. Even if you are having a bad day, or even if you think extremely highly of yourself, it's better to be nice with customers; even more as the store leader. I recommend not to go there, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Recently went to Hairhouse Queens Plaza to get try salvage my poor sad tired hair (and self), Jimmy was the right person for the job! My hair looks so much better, and healthier he also gave me advice on how to style it at home which was a game changer! Jimmy thank you so much!!!!! 10/10/10/10
