Stopped Here on our way south ,staff were friendly and the shop was Clean so I was looking forward to a Nice feed of fish and chips ,how disappointed when we stopped at the park down the road to eat our meal ,the chips were disgusting they were way over cooked and full of oil the crumbed fish was just as bad,$16 in the rubbish bin, will never stop or recommend this place

What great food from these girls. Loved the chicken and salad roll which was huge and awesomely fantastic, also the bacon and egg roll could not be ended by the lovely Narelle so I polished off that masterpiece as well! Stop here on your journey through “Home Hill” and get a feed you just won’t regret or forget.

Bought a piece of battered makerel and chips, wasnt pleasant. The portion was very big, but...fish was heavily overcooked and soaked in oil and not very nice. Chips the same. oil change is long overdue. I stop at the comfort stop regularly, but wont buy their food again.

I only had chips there but they were awful unfortunately:( very bland,over cooked and abit fishy.Tasted like old oil.Could just been a bad day for getting food from there as other reviews seem decent hence why I ate from there!

Very yummy battered fish. Chips were nice, little bit oily though. They grilled fish for the gluten intolerance. Friendly fast service. Thank you

Excellent service by the young man who served on the cashier. So clean and air conditioned. Beautiful dinner of fresh home made salad with our delicious battered and grilled fish. Most enjoyable meal. Thankyou.

Really wanted to support this local community, fish was dry, potato cakes or potato scallops if that's what they are called in Queensland were just full of fat. The seafood sticks were the same full if fat and took a bite and couldn't bring myself to eat it. Thought it was off. Rang and spoke to owner, said they were straight out if the freezer. And doubled dipped. Perhaps they were not cooked. So disappointing.
