Burra Bike & Board

Today we hired SUP's from Burra Bike and Board. James was super helpful in recommending places to take the boards and was flexible with returning the SUP's in the afternoon. He helped to load the boards onto our car, and was available to get in touch throughout the day if we had any questions.I would highly recommend dropping into Burra Bike and Board, a great addition to the area. Me and my friends recently stayed at Culburra and hired some kayaks from here. The customer service was great, James was very flexible and understanding when it came to things like the possibility of bad weather. It was one of the highlights of our stay.

When I visited Culburra a few days ago, my grandchildren talked me into hiring a bike from Burra Bike and Board for the weekend. This was the best decision ever. James from Burra Bikes suggested a vintage cruiser (very stylish) and not only taught me how to use the gears and brakes, but also suggested some cool bike tracks to follow. My grandchildren were so impressed that I could keep up with them (almost). Thank you Burra Bike and Board ... next time I visit I will hire a stand-up board!

We had a great experience use Burra Bikes - our group hired 5 bikes for the day and we explored Culburra beach and surrounds. The team at Burra bikes were super helpful, gave us great recommendations on where to cycle and the bikes we used were in great condition and we got everything else we needed (maps, helmets, bike locks etc included) - we especially loved taking the fat bikes onto the sand! Would definitely recommend for a fun day out or to make the most of your time in Burradise!

Friendly customer service and great quality bikes. The bikes came with a bike lock and helmet, and we were given ideas for interesting places to go around Culburra. Will definitely be returning next year to hire bikes and some of the other products available. Highly recommend!

There are few businesses this outstanding. From my first contact with James over the phone advice and support was top notch. James dropped off kayak and surf board ready for our arrival to the airbnb with a bag of tips and instructions. I called into the shop for extra advice over the week and got really friendly and great service and suggestions. This customer service went above and beyond when we found ourselves hiding the kids Santa presents at James's house ready for the big day.Add to this that the kayaking at Cullbarra was fabulous, we paddled across to Greenwell point 3 times for lunch or oysters and wine, and loved the surf beach. We took the kayaks to Kangaroo river and also out on the ocean ( all following James's recommendations). Spectacular location and fabulous business.

If you ever do come to culburra beach or around there area I would highly recommend the kayak hire. James was really helpful and flexible with us. The weather wasn't too good but we still decided to still kayak and he gave us really good tips and routes on where to go and visit. One of my friends was struggling and he was very encouraging helped them calm down.

We recently stayed in Culburra with our young kids and decided to hire some paddle boards, the day came and the weather wasn’t favourable. We called Morto and he happily changed our dates and even checked the weather to make sure our day was full of sunshine!! Can’t recommend Burra Bike and Board enough. Can’t wait to visit again and have a paddle in the lake and beaches!

Super friendly and easy going. James came out for a replacement bike after my bike lost a small cog and couldn’t pedal anymore to get me going again. I can only recommend him, nice bloke.Only thing I wish I had on the bike was a bottle cage and a small saddle bike with some repair tools and spare tire just in case, but you’re in safe hands without.
