Generally there is parking at the latter part of the evening after 6pm. We go here occasionally to cool off in summer when the nights are too hot. A bit difficult to get here during the day. Nice ocean pool - clean with beautiful views.

A fun place to soak in the sun and take some nice photos. Paradise water and a cool man made pool that connects to the ocean. The crowd here was teenagers most were here hanging out in the pool. Some of them jumped from the high rocks into the pool. Definitely cool to see but there was barbed wire at the top where the kids were jumping so I have a feeling the authorities aren’t fans of this activity.

The water was clear and refreshing and the views of the ocean were beautiful. The facilities were clean and well-maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. My friend and I had a great time swimming here. I highly recommend Bronte Bath for a fun and relaxing day out with friends or family.

Love ❤️ Bronte Beach Baths Enclosed swimming pool as well as natural swimming area with shallow water suitable for children as well as adults, toilet and shower facilities are also available. The beach and the surrounding area is very nice. The bogey hole sometimes might be a bit rough depending on the the conditions

Great spot for early riser’s or late swimmers. Hard to find parking in the middle of the day and it can get super busy very quickly. Unfortunately, kids wanting adrenaline are seen jumping dangerously from up high and police can’t always be there to stop it. But such a gorgeous swimming pool and it’s free!

Bronte Baths is an open-air, ocean pool carved into he sandstone cliff at the southern end of the Bronte Beach. It is a very Australian thing to have a pool built alongside the beach and there are about 100 along the NSW coast. As far as ocean pools go, it’s this is one of the most scenic. It is slightly elevated so it looks across the ocean and down upon the beach. The towering sandstone cliffs and rock formations are a dramatic backdrop.Built in the 1880s at a time when it was considered highly risky for men and women to mix, the baths were highly regulated. Swimming was only allow between daylight hours of 10am - 4pm. Goodness knows what might happen in the dark. Gentlemen could bathe 7 days a week but ladies were forbidden on Sundays and public holidays. Today entry is free, but when it was new, entry was fourpence (adults) and tuppence (children). The baths are perfect for smaller children or for those who are are inexperienced swimmers. It offers a safer swimming space, where you can still swim in ocean water but are protected from tricky rips, shifting currents and rough surf.Barrier at one end divides the serious swimming section where lanes are marked out for laps, from the area where you can just have a splash around. The surrounding rock platform is a good area to set up your towels and sit in the sun.NOTE: Don’t leave without walking the very short distance up the path past the Baths to the end of the headland. It has absolutely beautiful ocean views and striking sandstone formations.

Perfect place to swim and chill on a summer day. Bronte baths are 1 or 2 degrees warmer compared to the sea temperatures, so it's usually a rather pleasant swim.

One of my favourite places for a swim. The ocean pool is paved and along the popular Bondi to Coogee walk. It has a few bench seats and open outdoor showers close by. There are also toilets that have open showers in them. Paid parking.
