Toyworld Townsville

Terrible returns policy. Had to return the item twice ($140 product), second time around I just wanted an exchange, but they wouldn’t allow it. I asked for a refund which they also refused…. Until I pointed out I was entitled to one under consumer law. I got the refund eventually and went to give them back the money for a new one (i.e. an exchange, but with extra steps). They then refused to serve me. Apparently consumers not accepting faulty products is such a grievous offence in their eyes, that they won’t even take your money anymore.Oh and the $140 item was $100 online (incl. postage) and will arrive a lot quicker than they probably would have got my faulty item to the manufacturer/distributor.Buying from toyworld Townsville is a risky transaction, you’ll be treated like trash if their products don’t work and you’ll be paying 150% of the price for the privilege.

Really friendly and great staff who greeted me upon entry and asked if i needed assistance. Was happy to let me browse and just to let them know if I required help. This Toyworld has a significant range of Lego of all themes and holds some of the more hard to get sets. If its Lego your after in Townsville this would be my first place to go if the Official Lego store did not have what was needed. The rest of the store was clean and tidy and held a diverse range of toys.

Thanks so much for your help today on the phone. Your staff member - who’s name I forget! — really went out of his way to help with a tricky gift card matter. My daughter is thrilled.

I just wandered around the store trying to find someone to help me and all staff members ignored me. Terrible customer service and just lost an $800.00 sale. Thanks Toyworld won't be bothered coming back.

An excellent selection of toys here, definitely a good place to look if you need kids presents.

Got there with our little granddaughter. Had no idea the time. We had 8 mins to satisfy her wants (never needs, lol). The 2 young girls were very accommodating and patient. Always a pleasure shopping here.

For starters. Don't take any notice of all the hate comments. Some people just can't be pleased. The prices are very good and in a lot of cases cheaper than most online only stores. The staff are friendly and helpful.

A big shout out to Luke and Mitchell I went in before Easter purchased 2 e scooters one was faulty they sorted me out the very next day with a very easy process also a shout out to the store manager nothing beats old fashion customer service all round very friendly helpful knowledgeable staff (ps the kids had fun on their new wheels!)

Prices a little more than larger chain stores but that is to be expected for an independently owned store, always support your local independents.Very very good range in products, much more than you'd see at Big W or Kmart. Overall a great store I've been supporting for a few years now across my toy addiction but sadly the brands I collect aren't readily available in stores anymore.Lots of lego, models, paints, puzzles and other various toys. Definitely pop in and have a look!
