I am usually a big fan of the Pet Chemist Online service and would give the service a 5Star rating, without question. Not only are the prices for prescription medication unbeatable, they also deliver an outstanding service over the phone and online.Not so today. Today I spoke to Katie who was not only NOT knowledgeable, she also VOLUNTEERED straight away wrong product information only to then try and turn the narrative around in the process. Disappointed with today's telephone experience.

Our dog passed away shortly before a repeat subscription was despatched. Asked if I could have a refund, only able to get a store credit which isn’t useful as we no longer have a pet. When I asked to speak to management was told I could no longer have any credit as the product was listed as non-returnable on the website (which I can’t find after a quick search) very insensitive

Why are you telling me that detail??Could I also please make sure that order confirmation email just gets sent to my email address (as domestic violence order in place didn’t want address details on it sent - this detail not mentioned to pet chemist on the phone, as should have just been a simple request).Pet chemist: Why don’t you call me back when you’re feeling better!What kind of weird and totally rude response is that! Over just asking if the email can be sent to one place! Why question why it was under a different name when the details didn’t matter! Was completely polite on the phone and received that customer service!Gmail account name not real name.

I was basically robbed by this company.Not only was it false advertising but they couldn't even apologise. During the month of April they advertised free shipping for orders of $49 or more as opposed to the regular over $99. Anyway my order was at $64. I was told if I spent $99 it would be free shipping.So thinking it would be as cheap to add $36 of treats. Only being on a pension I had $100 for the items. Instead I'm told it's $ 145.13I'm told it's due to the weight so I accept the new huge bill.I now find out, that during all of April the free shipping was over $49.Regardless of weight I would of only payed $80 with express post. Now the so called coffee wood chews are $60 down the drain, and something I never wanted but ordered under false advertising.The excuses the Supervisor gave me were a joke. It claims you care, on your site.It's the deliberate manipulation and lack of remorse or concern that hurts the most. My pets mean everything to me so the way I was patronised is insulting.

I received my order 3 days early than expected, well done on that! I purchased the Aloveen Shampoo and Conditioner for my doggos and both arrived in a very well packaged box, hence why there were no leaking issues. I would order again and highly recommend them in purchasing your pet products!

Do not use this company, I have nothing but trouble, from the first order. Takes over a week or 2 for orders to arrive, I had to ring up and be on hold for over an hour each time as the online payment system would not accept my Credit Card. I placed my last order with them early in June, had to call to make the payment, only to find out that they had not received a script for Tremal for my fur baby, that was sent to them via registered mail and provided them with a tracking number, I asked why advised that it was not received before this. Their response I don't know, staff advised that they will arrange to call the vet and have a new script sent to them which cost me $50.00. It still took them over a week to send the medication to me.I requested my scripts back and well what a surprise the original script they said did not arrive, was sent back with all of the other scripts. I ordered at 10am on Friday 2nd June and paid extra $12.90 for Priority Processing & Express shipping. It's 6th June 4pm and no delivery! Don't waste your money paying for the extra service, because you don't get it from Pet Chemist. Not impressed!

Most incompetent business I've come across in years. Constantly don't have stock of life-saving medication risking the life of my pet on a number of occasions. Even when I did order over a week in advance they still couldn't manage to get it half an hour up the road. Go elsewhere if you value your pets life because they certainly don't care and will give you lame excuses like they only have 7 staff there or it was a public holiday. Manage your business as these are YOUR issues. Can't even manage to answer the phone half the time and forget about emails. Good luck! Outstanding marks for incompetence!

My precious baby says a huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Pet Chemist for getting her medicine dispensed and delivered so quickly. She has been suffering with horrendous allergies for over 6 months now and her Dermatologist has changed her onto a very pricey medication. Buying from The Pet Chemist was 60% cheaper than getting it from the specialist direct and we only had to wait 5 days (including a weekend).I highly recommend other pet parents to ask their vet/specialist for a prescription and order from here, rather than overpay for the medications from the vet/specialists. They make enough money from our sick babies.
