My boys are loving this so much! Both my son's have massive anxiety and when I eaves drop (bad mother) they are interacting, laughing and happy!! So grateful to the DM patients! Thank you so much for providing such great service!

My son loves the minecraft group, he can’t wait every week for his game sessions and gets so excited. His social skills and confidence improved so much since he started joining Minds at Play. To see him making friends and enjoying playing with a group of friends is priceless.

This has been the best social skills program my son has done and he's done them all! He's so happy and so excited every week, he looks forward to every session. As a parent, you just want your child to have the same experiences as their peers, to make friends, to be happy and look forward to things. Ethan can't wait to continue next term and that says it all!

I have only just had my first session at Minds at Play, however I was so impressed that I wanted to do a review right away. I will update this once I've worked with them more, but I am so confident it will still be a glowing review.I had an introductory session of Dungeons and Dragons with Bryan. He was a brilliant facilitator, and his ability to create a welcoming and comfortable environment was exceptional, especially considering I was the only adult in the group for this session (they do run groups for different age groups, but the introduction session is for all ages). His explanations of the game were clear and thorough, making it easy for me to understand. I am part of the LGBTQIA+ community and they are very affirming and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone LGBTQIA+ identifying. Bryan made me feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely welcomed.Being the newest player in the group (as the others had played DnD before) and feeling nervous, I appreciated how encouraging and thoughtful Bryan was throughout the session. Despite my lack of experience and being in a different age bracket from the other three attendees, he still managed to make the game really enjoyable. I cannot thank him enough for this and am so impressed with his ability to create a fun and inclusive atmosphere. The correspondence around the session and registering for the next term was also really great - clear communication and very happy to clarify and answer questions. I look forward to joining the next Term of Dungeons and Dragons with Minds at Play! Thank you so much!

Absolutely love hearing the excited chatter and laughter coming from my child's sessions with MaP. It's his favourite time of the week and a safe space he can truly be himself.

My son has been playing dungeons and dragons on and off for a while but hasn't really found the right group or DM. He's been playing for a couple of months now with Minds at Play and it's really loving it. They matched him up with the right group and the best DM to suit his personality and needs and it's been a much better experience this time around. The communication is great and they don't overcharge like many companies do. It's very reasonable and we can use his funding for it. Very happy with Minds at Play!

My daughter had been begging me to play Minecraft with friends. I came across Minds At Play and signed her up. She gets so excited coming home from school every Friday to play Minecraft with all her new friends. I hear her giggling from across the house. It has made a drastic positive change in her mood and improving her special skills. These Minecraft sessions are definitely the highlight of her week.I would absolutely recommend this to anyone and everyone. If you have a special needs child (or even just yourself) who enjoys Minecraft, you should definitely sign up. Bonus is that it is also fully covered by NDIS.

What a great service offered by a great team. My eleven year old is into his second year of gaming with Minds at Play. He has worked in small groups with other kids to solve problems, think creatively, seek team-determined solutions, create spaces, expand his imagination and practice social skills whilst supported by a games master playing both Minecraft and DnD. He started as a novice with very little screen time and has made friends whilst building skills in a safe digital environment. Saturday afternoons are the best time of the week!
