Onsite inspection from Scott to scope the work. He came back a second time a couple of weeks later with another person to inspect the ground. I followed-up after a week and he apologised and promised to supply a quote soon. No response after another week and I texted a few times and left a phone message another week later. No response.Completely unprofessional and immature to ghost people. Either commit to supplying a quote with the intent to do the work or say sorry not interested in your job. Don't waste peoples time.

Had a fabulous experience with Scott from drain master Plumbing today. Great and friendly service, on time and well priced. Jobs were done expertly and solid advice given from quote to repair. Jobs were tap repair, having another one replaced and drain snaking. Definitely keeping hold of this number for all my plumbing needs.

Scott was fantastic to deal with, keeping us informed when he was arriving and detailing the issues. He was very time conscious, exceptionally clean and tidy, knowledgeable and a really super chap. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Note, This is a modified review - Originally Five Stars and a happy customer. The first two times I was extremely happy with the friendly service, the great value for money as well as the helpful knowledge freely given.But I am now disappointed and as a returning, cash paying customer will now not be using them again.My blocked pipe is the absolute easiest job - easy access and we know what it is (roots) and almost exactly where it is as I once dug out the whole area right to the neighbour's fence.I used to hire an electric eel and do it myself every 3 or 4 years, that's how long it took to block up with the roots. But after looking at Drainmaster's prices (around 2016-2017) it was only an extra $25 to get them out.After Drainmaster came out less than a year ago (cost was $130 cash) the pipes blocked up less than 4 months later! I was not happy as I thought that maybe all the roots had not been removed last time. It usually is at least 3 years for the roots to grow back. But I persevered with strong caustic which cleared it, but it kept coming back. After about 11 months I called Drainmaster to get him out. But he was on a break, so I waited patiently for over 2 weeks until he was back at work.I didn't even think to ask if the prices had gone up in less than a year and I feel he should have informed me. He charged me $180 cash which I feel was too much for such a simple job and for a patient, easy going, cash paying, return customer who had written a glowing review for the last job.We both knew what the problem was and it was about 20 minutes plus 3 minutes or so for getting out the back. That's a lot of money and I am aware they now charge a minimum $250 for a blocked drain! That is way way too much, however the price goes up from there if difficulties encountered or extra time required.Why do plumbers charge so much? Well it can be hard, dirty, smelly, unhygienic work, often lots of digging, problem solving, expensive specialized machinery and new fittings to be considered. But in my case, none of that - a previously satisfied return customer with a super easy quick job which had been done lots of times before and with easy access and no special equipment or labour required, so I feel I was overcharged.Easy jobs from easy regular customers should be rewarded, not ripped.As well, he offered to bring some chemicals to put in the drain to slow down the root growth. We had spoken about it three times and with two reminders, but he still forgot to bring it.If he advised that the prices had gone up that much or had offered to do it for $150, I would have either hired a machine myself or would still be a satisfied customer giving a 5-Star review which arguably can result in thousands $$ in extra work.And what was the response after I emailed through the website contact form about this? No reply, ignored it. Which is not the most polite way to deal with customer issues. I know for a fact that their contact form is working. Rather surprising as he has shown to be an honest friendly fellow previously.I'm not saying DMaster won't do a good job for you or leave you unsatisfied, I'm just sharing my experience and saying I won't be a return customer anymore.
