The opening hours are terrible. Should be open evenings so local people can go use it for work, study and research, you know, use a library how it's meant to be used. One should not have to go into town at night alone on public transport just to study. I've heard people say that the council are minimising this libraries usefulness so a hotel can be built on the site...

Great place to unwind grab a book, see a show, browse the gallery and now have a bite to eat with the addition of the original pancake kitchen. Pancakes are fluffy and generous the staff are a vibe. Coffee available with a great atmosphere. Kid friendly too.

You intend to study or work on the library. You find this library. It looks nice. Once you enter, you will realize dozens of mothers with babies happily signing kids song with loud music.In the library.It happens that it has books. It happens that you could sit and read - if the music, the singing and the smells of babies allows you to concentrate.It is not a library. It is a child social care center. I want my taxes back :(

I have always supported this community library for years - but after today & speaking to the manager - I was harassed and spoken to by two very racist library patrons because I took 2 copies of the advertiser to read - which were old editions - the fact that these two individuals took it upon themselves to blantantly remind me that this was Australia!! I have never been so insulted -minding my own business & reading the paper.

Probably should be 5 star, but I haven't really needed to explore at depth. Neat, clean, well set out for Covid conditions, and staff available to assist, if needed. Checking book out electronically was quick and easy.

A lovely modern library with friendly, helpful staff but the opening hours are woeful. Libraries have always been part of the community and should be available for reading, study and researching every single evening. For an area that has quite high council rates you are getting less and less for your money. Sadly reflective of the dumbing down of society and cutting back of essential services. Now I hear it will be turned into a suburban hotel - a monument to capitalism?
