Hands down the best barber shop. I’ve come here for 5 years and never realised just how good they are. Every time I’ve gotten a bad cut somewhere else, they’ve fixed it. I’m never going anywhere else as long as I stay in the peninsular.

I couldn't get into my normal barber to give them a 4th go at getting my hair cut right, so I tried it this little gem at the back of the Woolies carpark. I've never been so happy to not be able to get an appointment. I've now been to The Male Room twice, and both times received my favourite hair cut ever. Even walked out and the first person I saw (Bakers Delight shop assistant) said great hair". If you too want great hair... go see the people here."

Cannot recommend enough.Been to too many other places who rush you in and out, and provide the most average haircut.The Male Room is one of a kind. Roddi did an exceptional job completely transforming my hair from 2 years of growth to my cleanest cut to date!Good luck trying to find better barbers.10/10

Been going here for years but came in to get a haircut the other day and found out it recently changed owners with a different crew of barbers so i got a haircut and was the worst haircut ive ever had. Completely the opposite of what i wanted and a lot of long strands that weren't cut around my ears and very uneven and different lengths all over my head and the front of my head has been cut so uneven and is so noticeable, and to top it off he cut me a mullet when i never asked for one and asked to cut the back as i didn't want to look like a mullet numerous times and had to cut it off when i got home. Can not believe i had to pay for this.

Not at all happy with the beard trim I got here. Took off way too much length and left holes in it. I’ve given myself better trims during lockdown. 3 stars as it is walk in and cheap and other barbers there may be better. Beard trim itself gets 1 star

I highly recommend not getting your hair cut here. Somehow they find new ways to butcher it every time I go. Only got my hair cut there due to the young man who always did a fantastic job but since he left I’ve gone back to my old ways of wearing hats everywhere I go. Do not have your children’s hair cut here unless you want them to be severely bullied.
