Jim does a fantastic job at breaking down really complex statistical concepts into easy lessons that not only make the subject way more approachable but helped me see how it all interconnects. I’ve struggled with maths my entire life and had almost given up on passing statistics, but with Jim’s help I’m feeling a lot more confident in my success but also in using statistics in my future career. I can’t recommend him enough!

My chemistry tutor helped me greatly in understanding the essentials and going in depth with each topic. Every lesson was very much worth my time. I would recommend to others in senior high school.

James has been my GAMSAT tutor for a number of months now and I am consistently impressed by his ability to break down complex concepts and, dare I say it, make them enjoyable to apply.For context: I’m a 31-year-old female with little-to-no hard science knowledge and I approached James for assistance with S3 of the GAMSAT after several bad experiences with tutors who lazily sent me to YouTube (during our sessions) when I expressed my anxiety or confusion. Since working with James, I no longer go into panic mode when I see dense scientific questions, graphs, organic chemical formulas or lots of foreign words in one place.James’ main approach is application and repetition, but he gets 5 stars from me for his investment in teaching the micro-skills that save time and fingernails in the exam. James is patient and creative, and I could not recommend him more for anyone who wants a cool, calm and collected environment in which to learn ridiculously hard things!

James is an incredibly talented tutor. He is quick thinking, intellectual, professional and empathetic. He is easy to talk to and has had a wide range of experience within the science/ medical industry making him very well equipped as an all rounder. I highly recommend James and am very grateful for his assistance.
