Latrobe Regional Gallery
What a hidden delight! Well worth a visit, well worth a trip from Melbourne.Beautiful building and the exhibitions are always interesting and often eclectic. The current 50 artists 50 years is especially memorable and with such a diverse array will ensure that everyone will connect with at least one artwork. The booklet is a comprehensive guide to the artworks as well as a detailed history of the last 50 years. Well done Morwell!

Lovely staff. Clean and modern building. Great and interesting art displays. I was lucky enough to have the local artists holding a workshop the day I visited, so got to talk to a lot of artists and watch them work. Great experience overall!

Saw the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibition and its incredible. Such a extensive collection of his.Very easy to navigate around the gallery able to park close and best of all it's free entry!

Latrobe Regional Gallery
We come down for Easter break. By chance, I see the brochure in our hotel for Da Vinci Machines exhibition in this gallery. We are so glad we come here for the visit!! A few of his painting from Louvre Museum. This is amazing to see Da Vinci's great work.

Really nice art gallery hosting limited time exhibitions from around the region. Everything is presented as well as the NGV, just on a smaller scale with 4 gallery spaces in total. You have a quick explore within 20 minutes or sit back and enjoy the few video and sound exhibits as well.

It's pretty small, but worth dropping into if you are already in Morewell. Do not travel all the way there to go to this gallery- it's too small. Go to the cafe and get the hot chocolate- it's incredible! Maybe it is even worth the drive... see:

Scent with exquisite bottles displayed or an Adult playground where l laughed at my own antics...Lunch at the Cafe is an easy fresh idea there cakes are extremely yummy as l always have one. Friendly staff.
