We called in to have 1 drink in the afternoon but stayed for extra drinks and snacks because the atmosphere was so inviting. The service was so friendly from Jess serving food to Alyssa serving drinks. I can’t comment on the main courses but the snacks were delicious and well presented. We will definitely be back when we visit the area again.

A beautiful ambience in the heart of Penrith. I was thoroughly impressed with the menu at the Birdcage. Very classy. Will be coming back for sure

I’ve been waiting for a $5000 payout for close to a day and a half. I call to see how long and I’m told to call back as the day shift can’t help me??How long should it take to make a bank transfer?Never heard of such a thing.

Now charging over $8 for a schooner of beer when your offering $2 service and amenities.. your a basic little pub in Penrith, I would say good luck in the future but this place won't have one for very long..

I did internet research first and then I chose to take an elderly lady here for lunch. After she struggled up the hill we were told that due to renovations the eatery was not open.I thought the internet site should have indicated this.

The great bistro is gone. No middies. Wine is on tap. Beer lines not clean. No beer garden so you have to sit in the front bar dominated by a loud group of locals who seem to dislike non locals. A complete change from my last review here, when I was very impressed. New owners?
