Canning Vale Boarding Kennels & Cattery

The kennels were small, and bedding was seriously stained and wet. The owner was quite rude. Our dog, which is quite large, hadn't been let out during his entire stay as the lead was exactly how I had left it hanging on his door. Dog was very tired, and hungry when she got home...I feel like a bad pet owner for leaving my big girl at this place. Do not consider this place, or have a look before you take your dog there.

Having worked here for the past 6 weeks I can honestly say that other review is absolute nonsense. The owners and staff cannot do enough to make your pets' stay as comfortable and stress free as they possibly can. Hygiene standards are the highest I have ever seen at a kennels (having left my dog at more than one) and I can honestly say the staff are brilliant. All the girls are fantastic and are clearly animal lovers, and I can't speak highly enough about the owners, Brian and Sue. All the staff are experienced, and educated animal owners and due to the processes in place, can quickly pick up if your pet is not acting/eating/toileting normally. If you don't believe me, go check out the kennels and cat cave yourself, you won't be disappointed!!!

I really wanted to love this place. The young ladies who I met on drop off and collection day were lovely. But I had a few issues. First, I booked a deluxe accommodation for my two small dogs but they were housed in standard the whole time. There was no plush bedding, toys or non slip flooring. When I picked them up, my cavalier had dried faeces through her tail and coat and she smelled like urine. She's a very clean dog and this has never happened before at home. When I got them home and washed them, to my horror she had huge mats through her feathers. I have just spent the last hour and a half shaving her feathers off as they were too close to trim. I'm so upset- this is my baby!! I was told when I dropped them off they would be brushed every day. Over $400 and I didn't get the deluxe service I was promised. Very sad guys.

I have been using Canningvale boarding kennels and cattery for some time now, they are fantastic, the cat cave is great, my cats love it and are so comfortable with the music playing and sound of water with the fish pond. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely helpful & super friendly staffs. My pup daily plan had been properly plan, followed & monitored. Very clean and pleasant environment. My pup was not in a hurry to go home with me, when I picked him up after quite a few days missing us. He went to say bye to his friends and bye to staff before we left. They deserved more than 5 stars.

I'm disgusted after picking up my two cats. They stayed here for 4 nights and I'm so angry and upset I'm literally in tears.1. Our once friendly cats (one more so than the other), are both absolutely terrified of sounds and both me and my partner. They are hiding in the corner cowering in fear everytime we even try to go near them. That's not normal at all, they've stayed places before and come home fine- this is NOT IT. I'm not sure whether it was abuse from workers or what, but I'm super maddd!!2. Once they came home I checked them over and realised how bad their condition is. They look sickly skinny. After weighing both they have lost next to 1kg EACH over their 4 night stay.. shocking!!! I fed them some food and they are starvinggg, they ate this food like their lives depended on it (once I was a safe" distanceaway from their bowls

We have boarded our Doberman and in the past our greyhound with Canningvale Kennels many times, each time has been really great with them being returned to us in great shape, healthy and happy. The owners and the girls working there are very friendly and professional and will update you via Facebook or email if you want to check on how your furry child is going. Also took care of our dog with some medical issues that were ongoing without any issues. Recommended by our Vet originally and now we wouldn’t take our dog anywhere else. Can’t recommend these guys enough.

Such amazing and caring staff and owners. We have been taking our dog Charlie to this boarding kennel for years. She is well looked after and we wouldn't want her to go anywhere else. They have taken the time to make her comfortable and happy and we appreciate the care and effort that goes into looking after our pet. I would highly recommend this Boarding Kennel and Cattery.

I have been using Canning Vale Boarding Kennels and Cattery for about 15 years now. I have always found the staff there to be incredibly caring, and they genuinely love looking after all of the animals there. I would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking at leaving their pet somewhere where they will be loved and cared for. They will make sure that your pet is fed whatever food you prefer, and they make sure that all medicines are given - if your pet requires them. They will also keep in touch to let you know how your pet is settling in. They also make sure that your pet is given lots of cuddles and play time. It is a fantastic place.

I honesty can't fault these guys. They have cared for my fur baby with kindness. He goes into the tiny tots area and is clearly very happy as he drags us to the kennel door when we drive here. Communication is good and I always come home to a content and healthy pup. I am very grateful to have someone I can trust with my little one. This helps me not to worry and to enjoy my holiday.
