Happy Dogs

Michelle knows dogs & humans!! She is patient, kind and easy to communicate with for both humans and dogs alike. She has taught me how to better understand my dog’s behaviours and has offered excellent tip and tricks to raising happy healthy dogs. Michelle is on time, consistent and thorough with her training and reward system. My two dogs sprint to her van or to her directly when they see her on the beach. They practically turn themselves into wagging pieces macaroni when she is near. I cannot say enough about Happy Dogs’ services and highly recommended her to new dog owners and veterans alike. I always learning from my interactions with Michelle and my dogs are happy, more obedient and satisfied because of her training and affection.

Michelle is next level awesome! Our bulldog moose absolutely loves her, he has shown major improvement in his manners and commands since having walk train sessions with Michelle. I can’t recommend her services enough to puppies and older dogs alike :)

Michelle is an amazing trainer, love the way she lets the dog make the decision. I have never seen that type of training before, it works so well and the dog respond very well.

Muppet is a 8yr old rescue Kelpie. She suffered long term abuse & neglect. As a result she has challenging behaviours that were beyond my expertise to manage. Each session is aimed at providing a positive learning environment with fun & informative activities. She explains the reasoning & has a deep insight into dog behaviours. Adjustments are made for our specific needs. We are progressing well & feel more confident & comfortable. Would definitely recommend Michelle.

Michelle is a natural - she understands what it takes to train both dogs and humans! She has excellent training and experience that comes through in enjoyable and productive training sessions.

I took my 3 year old anxious dog to the well mannered dog classes plus had private training with Michelle. Penny responded well in the classes and I learnt different ways to calm her which has given us both more confidence. Penny can still get anxious around other dogs, but it doesn’t happen as often and I feel comfortable dealing with it when it does. Love Michelle’s recall technique - 100% effective for both my dogs!

Michelle has gone above and beyond to provide us with guidance on training our hyperactive puppy with recall, basic commands, stopping puppy biting and jumping. She has also given us heaps of enrichment activity ideas to keep our highly intelligent bordercollie cross puppy entertained.She's got great interpersonal skills, is friendly, really helpful and clear in her communication. She really listens to what you are wanting to focus on and adapts her training skills to suit your needs.I really can't recommend Michelle enough. 6/5 dog trainer.

Michelle has been helping us to care for and walk our dog for a few years now. We have also participated in her dog training workshops.Michelle is extremely reliable and highly professional in everything that she does for us. She is well qualified and brings sound, empirical principles to her training practice.
