Quinninup Falls
Beautiful coastal hike along the cape to cape to probably the best falls in the Margs region.Lots of kangaroos during the early hours and plenty of wildflowers during the summer season.Moderate walk accessible by most.

Quinninup Falls
Beautiful section of coast, surf was crashing in during our short trek along the Quinninup Falls trail from Moses Rock Road Car Park. The trail took about 25 mins on a cool June day. The terrain is quite varied but easy if you are reasonably fit and mobile. The hardest section is a relatively steep section of sand dune. The falls were flowing but not gushing at this time of year even though there had been some rain.

Loved this little walking trail and water fall, not a lot of water today 10 Nov. perhaps i might come back in wet season. Lively flowers on the way and gorgeous ocean view along side. Recommend to wear hiking shoes with good thread and prepare for steep sandy hill to walk up.

Lovely coastal trail walk to the Falls. Saw some wildlife along the way. The dunes were super hard on the legs to walk up and down.

Even though the walk was long the scenery made up for it . After completing the 2nd portion of the boardwalk the rocky road starts there are about 235 steps and take a slight right to avoid further rocks. The steep sandy dunes is a bit of struggle if you are not used to slope hiking. Just take time and enjoy the scenery.

Slightly tricky trail (varied terrain of muddy puddles, loose sand, slippery slopes), would benefit from wearing proper hiking shoes. Best to come after rainfall or during spring time to see the falls. The cool and refreshing sprays from the falls welcome you after the hike to get there. On the way back, the kids enjoyed saving tadpoles from shallow puddles, transferring them to deeper puddles.

This is an easy to moderate walk across relatively flat ground. There is a steep hill in the middle that may challenge the unfit or elderly, but it's short and if you take your time, it will be fine. We went at the end of winter on a perfect day, so the falls were in full flow and looked spectacular. There aren't many falls in the area, but this was one of the best. Albeit 10m high.

A gorgeous coastline, easy walk and terrain. It took my hubby and I an hour to do the trail (to and from) and it was a lovely hike. The waterfall wasn't in full flow when we went on the June long weekend but it was still worth the visit.
