I don't give reviews normally but I was so disappointed with the service and quality of the costumes at Getcha Gearon Costumes. I put a deposit down for my daughter whilst she was at school as she does not get home until 9pm...she wasn't keen on the outfit as it didn't fit well. I went to take it back but they would not give my deposit back. Stated it was in the terms and conditions that no one explained to me. Ended up going to Queen of hearts costume hire in Bell Park and I could not fault them. Great costumes, cheaper prices and friendly staff.

Horrible service. There was extremely rude and unhelpful staff both in-store and over the phone. Whoever is hiring needs to manage your staff and teach them to treat customers with respect. I tried returning a unworn costume for a refund and the staff over the phone were extremely rude and blocked my number. NEVER coming back and will not recommend to anyone!!!

the service was so bad 3 years ago that I still tell people about it today. it's become a great story for parties but my god I would never want to step foot in this store again. Who abuses customers on google reviews... I don't even need to leave this review because your responses speak for themselves. This store could be run by 15 year olds, the way you've never matured.EDIT- I have never, and would never call a store to abuse them. The thought of asking friends to call a store and do the same has never crossed my mind - much too childish, just like the staff at getcha gear on

Terrible phone manner, was extremely disinterested in our questions when ringing to enquire - citing being too busy putting costumes away. Kept directing us to the website rather than assisted and then became hostile. Avoid

I’m not one to leave reviews but I highly recommend the guys at Getcha Gearon for all of your costuming needs. I’m a terrible dresser but the nice little man in the store (I think he said his name was Aidan but he was short and I am tall so couldn’t hear him that well) guided my costuming experience so well that even my girlfriend said I looked very well put together. The other guests at the Gatsby party all agreed I looked even better than Leo. Aidan also mentioned that they have a location in Ballarat

Never been to the shop so first time customer, I was impressed on how much they had!! It's actually overwhelming on all the different costumes you can hire. I also found some fun accessories that will come in handy.I needed something ridiculously stupid for a house party dress up so ended up getting the whoopee cushion costume.Appreciated the fast and polite service. Will definitely be back. Thanks team.
