Udaya Megamart

Used to be a good place previously, lot of parking and the price written on every items. Been noticing past few months, the regular Atta brands like Aashirvaad/Pillsbury" missing from the shelves and instead replaced it with newer/unknown Atta brands. Also

My shopping experience at Udaya Megamart has always been good. Neat and well organised. I find almost everything here - exclusive Indian fruits and vegetables, herbal products, good quality stainless steel pots and pans etc. Reasonably priced as wellAnd the staff are polite and friendly too.

Indian grocery store with everything under one roof. Well maintained and organised unlike many Indian grocery stores. Ample free car parking available

What an experience, we walked in the store was open customers were inside, we needed a few spices and we started picking up items, then someone screamed from the front, We are closed". How rude and offensive. We took what we had and went to the counter

I love Udaya store because of the availability of a wide range of products with exceptional quality and taste. Only one disadvantage I can see is that there is no so much space for people to walk through the aisles.

COMPLETE FRAUDS, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOPI purchased baby's 'janma ghuti from this shop at 4PM 04Oct2022. This is a medicine for baby's digestion trouble and I needed it immediately.I handed over the 2 small boxes to the lady at the counter (in hand) and she billed it. I trusted that she will put it in the bag after billing it

Better arrangement of items when compared to their Wentworthville store, and also more tidy. But still prices are still high for some times - for example rice. Hike the prices a lot when COVID started. Even for 900 gm Red Label Tea powder, price is higher than Woolworth’s price.

Unfortunately had a very bad customer service experience with them and never going back… i was trying to return a pan that we bought a day earlier… and they kept saying they are not allowed to accept returns/ refunds on such items… their T&Cs on the purchase receipt didnt mention any of that.. so must be one of those unwritten rules..

I have been shopping in Udaya for long time and had very bad experience with a Staff at counter today. I purchased a whole lot of Indian groceries and the bill was around 220$. One of the item purchased was Sharma's Kitchen Yoghurt which was over priced. I just gave feedback to the staff about the price and she told, you can return and get it from another shop where it was cheaper. I was really shocked to hear such response. She could simply said we will look into it or that's our price. Neither I asked her to reduce it. I informed this to the Manager Mr Prakash at Blacktown and he was just convincing me for her inappropriate verbal statement and poor customer service. I hope management look into this. Manager knows the staff name and hope they will teach the staff how to behave/handle customers. I feel in Australia even business owner have no rights to say this as long as customer pays for their service and being reasonable. I can produce the bill copy if you think its not a random complaint.

This place is good for Indian sub con items like Indian spices, dals, variety of flours, rice, dry Indian snacks, cooking oils, plus other general supermarket items...
