Coffs Harbour City Council made a completely unreasonable and illogical but mostly uncompassionate decision!Insistant on an automated, prejudiced, blanket-approach despite compelling evidence of the contrary which just got dismissed without giving it any attention.Court action for such a trivial matter is now the only alternative, shame!Perhaps Council should consider to be more logical, amicable and concerned with looking at the individual circumstances. Also, Council's reviews are generally poor, this review will further undermine your questionable reputation.'Well done', Ian Fitzgibbon, leader of (Sustainable Places Group) at the Council for being harsh and insistant on something that could have been resolved in a very different manner, especially at your level!

They do a fantastic job of the gardens on roundabouts. Coffs has lost alot of its natural beauty. Litter abounds. Parks well.maintained as is general grassed areas. Council pick up was helping people too much so they stopped it. Bin service can be difficult if your bin is missed or has been stolen. Tip is too expensive.

I have to leave one star as there is no stars, which is how I rate this poor excuse for rate payer's money. I called yesterday and spoke to a female planner, who could not be any ruder if she tried. I was ringing regarding a form, which I know exists. However, she kept telling me ( three times) it does not exist and said will that be all" and hung up on me. Council makes decision's which are not in the best interest of the community

Woolgoolga park is a tragedy waiting to happen with the public toilet situated in the childrens play area. Whoever did the risk management ?. . No change rooms for families leaving children exposed or having to change in public toilets leaving floors dangerously wet after showering on the beach because there are NO change rooms. Who is responsible for monumental failure. Swings are so hot children cant use them because there is no shade over them. All my complaints are around risk & safety and this shouldn't happen where children are concerned.

I always have a great experience with council, Coffs Harbour has a good progressive council who try diligently to serve and make good decisions, I build and develop, buy and trade property and have lots to do with council. Rates can't be compared to other councils because each has an individual circumstance.

A Council serving its own self interests and disregarding the will of the rate payers. They put profit over people and the environment.Have now contacted them twice over an issue and about to do so a third time as they have still not responded or resolved the issue.

Tax money spent on skate parks (cement) when women are pushing their babies on the road, paths would be better, get priorities right MORE PATHS. Also a RV etc. unfriendly town, just for a short visit you must book caravan park as there's no where to park without being harassed or suspected of camping""

I cannot in all honesty refer to this council as progressive. I'm not sure what improvements have been done by Council at the Jetty! The only improvements have been paid for by the NSW State Government. No improvements will be done at the Jetty as the Mayor lives down there and he doe not want any change. He has been doing his best to stop the current revitalization project with protests against building down there. Too bad he has forgotten about the development he did himself. Hypocrisy at it's worst. The Mayor is only concerned with the Jetty........forget about the rest of Coffs.
