Called for takeaway pickup. was told 25-30 mins. Finally got my meal 67 mins later. I know this industry, and you can't get it that wrong.

Love their Cantonese fillet steak, satay chicken, fried rice, birds nests. Basic decor but who cares when the foods lovely.

The best Asian food i have found.I will happily drive past multiple other Chinese restaurants to get dinner from Fortune Palace!Their combination bird's nest is amazing!

Fortuna Place is one of those deceptive restaurants that look a little shabby on the outside but produce absolutely outstanding food.From the moment it opens at 5pm the phone is ringing with orders and people are walking in to eat in or get take away.The food itself is beautifully cooked and I'm yet to find a dish that I don't like. In particular the honey chicken is a rare example of how to cook battered chicken without it being soaked in oil.Prices are remarkably reasonable given the standard of the food and I thoroughly recommend anyone nearby giving it a try.

Ok. For transparency - i've been married to a beautiful Chinese women for 12 years.Now then - this 'Chinese' restaurant serves good western Chinese food that is just lovely for those with a limited ability to eat proper Chinese Traditional food like you'll find in Clayton or Box Hill or Doncaster.The food was nice. It was a bit better than shopping centre food court food. The staff were lovely (even if their misplaced advice of the 'very hot chilly' Sichuan beef was less spicy than warm milk).But this is not good proper Chinese food sorry. And the first indication we got was when we walked in and it was full of Anglos. Not a single Asian came in for the whole evening.So if you like dulled down, boring western style mock Chinese - then this place will suit you down the the ground.if you want a proper culinary experience - my advice - try Box HIll first (take a look at the photo of proper Chinese food from another place we tried in Doncaster.Just being real. Nice place - but......

Lovely little restaurant, very busy, but the staff were very polite and caring and extremely rushed off their feet. Food was fantastic .

Used to eat here a few times a week but they started charging more and more and the quality isn’t as consistent or as good as it used to be.we just don’t really go anymore but the staff are always friendly and attentive

Tasty good quality Chinese food at reasonable price. Nice Combination Dish but not enough sauce for my liking. One of the best in the area for sure! There are some bad ones out there......not sure how they stay in business.
