Great spot for an hour or 2. Dog friendly even on the train. Which only goes around the yard in a circle but still great for kids.

Super Cute quaint little railway that is well run by the kind locals. I took a bunch of kids and the dog and we had a marvellous time. Full marks.

What a great little slice of Victoria's history. Definitely worth venturing just outside the Alexandra township to go for a ride and see a range of things from days gone by. The train ride itself is not like many other historic railways, but is still worth the visit.

Talk about a big kids playground lol. It's set in the old Victorian Railways yards at Alexandra, and uses the old Alexandra Railway Station. Great piece of history. If you're mechanically minded, love playing around with engines and machinery, have a love of restoration and keeping history alive, then join, you'll love this place. Then there's the steam train, another beautiful piece of history. The kids will love it here, young and old. It's a good day out.
