The passing of my father was a difficult time for us. Finding a caring funeral home was also adding to the difficultly. There were a number of places we contacted, but they did not seem to have the compassion and professionalism expected during this time. Nik and Georgia from Whitehaven were always so pleasant to deal with. Their compassion, professionalism and respect eased our concerns during initial discussions, and then whilst dealing with preparations for our father's funeral.The funeral was arranged with the utmost care and thought, down to the finest detail. I would definitely recommend Whitehaven Funerals to anyone who is looking at engaging their services.I very rarely rate anyone with 5 stars, however in this case, anything less is not fitting.Thank you Nik and Georgia for making this difficult time so so much easier. It was such a relief to find a reputable funeral home to care for my father. Whitehaven were exceptional with their service, genuine in their care and authentic with their support. My mother passed away on 6 Aug 2022, 3 days after suffering a catastrophic stroke. I started to panic about the funeral arrangement. I searched for a Service and was overwhelmed by the choices that I started to become confused and disillusioned. I am so glad I found Whitehaven Funerals.I cannot thank Nik and the Team enough for their very professional service. EVERYTHING went to plan. There was not a single issue.I once employed Tobin Brother's after my stepfather passed away. That did not go so smooth. Nik and Penni were both lovely, caring and supportive during this difficult time. They allowed us to customise the funeral to our wishes and were very accomodating our requests including making a beautiful memorial booklet. Amazing service and felt very personal!
