Randwick Quality Dry Cleaner & Alterations

I've been to this drycleaner numerous times. I've had my expensive clothes that I asked to be drycleaned, washed and discoloured. The most recent example was when I put a white dress in for cleaning and it came out bright blue. Terrible terrible drycleaners!

DON'T USE THIS DRY CLEANER Unfortunately this dry cleaner has completely wrecked my new coat, so that it's not wearable. After sewing myself a new coat, 80%wool and 20% cashmere, and wearing it over just 3 weekends in June this year, I decided to have it dry cleaned to remove a scuff mark. I explained the fabric composition and requested no steam be used. When I returned, my coat looked completely different, grey (not cream) old, fabric worn and pilled, and embedded in black material and fibres. Sadly the dry cleaner accepted no responsibility, but instead blamed me of having a dirty coat and being fussy! She refused to accept that she had done something wrong. She would not help me in any way.I contacted the Dry-cleaning Institute of Australia, to ask for advice on how to remedy the problem. Apparently this dry Cleaner in Randwick is not a member of the Institute, so cannot be called to account! Another Dry cleaner who is a member of the institute, said it is probably dirty solvent used, recycled many times, which has caused the problem. It is complete unacceptable.Please don't take your valuable clothes to be dry cleaned at the Randwick dry cleaner, they will wreck you garments and not help to remedy or recover costs. Below you can see the damage: the coat (lower) is grey and spoilt, and the upper fabric is a remnant of the original fabric I purchased, when I made the coat.

Had my blazer jacket sleeves extended and a button replace as well as replace a split pocket in my levi jeans.The service was very good, i got my clothes back next day all altered to my requirement as well as both dry cleaned. All for $50, which with the dry clean included is not the worst price.Happy Customer

The lady at the shop was just so unfriendly.

Do not use this dry cleaner. I took in three brand new tailored shirts, one white, and they came back completely yellow. The equipment or chemicals used are obviously filthy. The collar stiffeners were also all lost. Hundreds of dollars down the drain thanks to the incompetency of this place. Don't risk it people.

Appalling service. A bye and new white linen dress has come back grey and shiny. They have no idea what they are doing. Main woman is a total b-tch too

The service was not only negligent but duplicitous.I had a jacket dry-cleaned and the lining was completely detached from the outer shell of the jacket. The jacket was completely destroyed.I was not told of the risks before the service, and I was not told it was ruined. Instead, I discovered it when I had the jacket at home.When I took it back, they refused to take responsibility or accountability, denied any wrong doing, and told me to buy super glue to fix the jacket.This service was astonishingly poor; the administration of the clean, the complete recusal of responsibility and the duplicity about the error. I would never go back and strongly recommend seeking an alternative provider.

Across the road from Coles. I go there every week to drop my laundry off with Be & I pick it up in the afternoon. She does a great job - wash, dry & fold. Smells so good. Great prompt service & very friendly.
